Swingtown: The First Season [4 Discs] - Widescreen AC3 Dolby - DVD (1 out of 1)
THE BEST SHOW THAT WAS ON NETWORK TV!
    5
Posted by: from the Valley< Los Angeles < California on 06/28/2010Swingtown is one of the best shows that was to far ahead of it time. The story line is a simple story of a family coming of age in the late 70's in Winnetka, Chicago. The story deals with family and social norms of the era. I'm sure anyone who watches it will grow attached to the characters easily as all are relate able. Do not be fooled into thinking this is some slap stick comedy with cheesy references. For me this shows comes in second to Boogie Nights another well done period piece. Give Swingtown a chance, I'm sure you will not be disappointed.
