I bought this with the hope of being able to get my stereo receiver to find and hold a couple stations that come in fine in my car. I'm using it with my surround sound stereo receiver. It gives us reliable reception for one of the stations that used to fade in and out, but some other ones still do not come in reliably and sometimes not at all.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I ordered it on line picked it up at the store and was not given the antenna I ordered. I returned it and the manerager said she was sorry she did not know how that happened. My question is how much alike is a tv antenna and a raido antenna. I guess someone didn,t know0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I got better reception by attaching a long strand of wire to the receiver then stretching it across the table. Trying to set it up was a complete waste of time0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I bought the unamplified one and got bad reception so I returned it and bought this one. NO DIFFERENCE!!!! I have to hold the antenna in my hand to get the best reception. I don't know if its where I live but I live in a pretty populated area. I regret not returning it when I had the chance.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Purchased as a replacement antenna for my am/fm receiver. Easy to install, but doesn't work! Doesn't even pick up the local FM.stations much less any AM. I do not live in an area where reception is a problelm with an antenna. I thought this would be an improvement over what I had, but this is not worth the money or effort to bring it home.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

The unit does not work as advertised. Had to crank the gain all the way up and sit it on a shelf next to my ceiling to get a few stations to come in. Then have to move it around depending on the weather.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I have read many reviews of anntennas indicating that most of them don;t work very well. This does work well, and insterestingly, it works better when it is unplugged. The power amplification doesn't really help anything and there is a bright blue light that stays on when plugged in which to my thinking is just wasting electricity. Bottom line is, the product does do what it is supposed to do and I recommend it.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
