Added the Mini to my home network via the Tivo Wireless N device I purchased sometime back but stopped using after I connected my Tivo Premiere to my network. So far the Tivo Mini works quite well with the Tivo wireless N device with no issues I can see at this point. Tivo states you must connect wired or MoCA and cannot use a wireless device. They're referring to wireless devices that connect via a USB port most likely. The Tivo wireless N device is setup through a computer initially to the wireless network then you actually connect to the device using an ethernet cable. I have a very fast wireless network so that also helps make this setup work. The Mini is quite fast in menu responses and is a pleasure to use. I wish my Premiere responded like this! The monthly fee is unfortunate but, if I like the device, I'm just going to pay the lifetime fee and be done with it.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

Tivo Mini FTW!!!5

Picked up the Tivo Mini @ BB yesterday. Registered it online first then plugged it in. Setup was quick, found my Tivo Premiere 4 and shared out 1 tuner. The speed on this is how the Premiere should have been 3 years ago. Other than changing a channel, this thing flys.
Sold my "old" Premiere with Lifetime Sub, to pick this up. I technically made money doing it this way as the Lifetime cost with the Mini was hundreds less than what I just sold my non 4 tuner Premiere for. Not only that, I got rid of a CableCard rental fee!
In the future, Tivo is supposed to introduce dynamic tuning. This way here, you don't lose a tuner full time for the Mini. Same thing with Amazon and Netflix. Tivo's future update could be 1 month till forever away as you know how that goes. I'll hope for the summer but that could be 2015 =)4 out of 4 found this review helpful.
