I wanted to be able to view recording from either TiVO unit on the other. Using a "G" adapter with my "G" router resulted in HD programs "jumping". Switching the adapter to a "N" and still using my "G" router resulted in a usable set-up!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

My elderly mom moved from retirement apartment to health care unit where they do have an open wireless network. I had really struggled with the wireless N adapter and N router in the apartment - very complicated set up so I was really dreading the move to the health care unit. Had to go back to lower technogogy, but AWESOME set up - plugged it in, followed the quick set up and done. It did not take 5 minutes total. Yea!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I hooked up the product to my tivo unit and it was ready to work right away. It was as easy as plugging a power cord into a socket. The transfer time seems to be a lil slow you really cant watch a show and transfer at the same time, especially if you fast forward thru the commercials. A three hour ball game was still trying to transfer the next day until I stopped the transfer. And I have a DSl hook up to my computer. Overall I would recogmend this product to any Tivo owner.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

It is great as soon as I got it to work but it took me one restart for the DVR and four restarts for my router. My tivo DVR anyway has history of painful set ups even for the cable card, probably my luck of the draw! I decided to go with these after almost 2 years of wired connection so I can eliminate one cable. It is definitely a must have for people who wants to go wireless.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
