Posted by: from NJ on 02/02/2012This 19" diagonal HDTV replaces a 13 CRT TV in our kitchen. It takes up less counter space, while generating a much better picture that we look at sometimes during meals and while doing meal preparation. Picture and sound are very good, even in the relatively bright kitchen lighting and at various viewing angles. The only feature that I wish the TV had would be a tuner sufficient to connect directly with the cable and receive all of the 900 channels available on my cable bypassing the cable box saving me more space and money.

Good...but not great.

Posted by: from Reading, PA on 02/01/2012Every TV we have bought in the last 10 years, has been a Toshiba. We love every one...except this one. I realize that it is much smaller than any others but I am obviously spoiled by our 42" Toshiba Regza that we bought over 5 years ago, and use every day. The audio is what you expect from a TV. Not dynamic like a home theatre audio system of course, but sound great. Now that I have shared all that, all I can say about this is, we bought this TV for our kitchen so, I really didn't expect the audio to be awesome but, I have to turn this thing up to like 50 to make a difference and it's weird that on a volume scale of 0 - 100, it seems to have maximum difference from 0 - 10, and then from 11 - 100, the volume increases, but not by the same factor. Add to that, the tone is very cold. Again, we bought this for our kitchen so, if you are considering this a NOT a primary, or secondary, but as a possible tertiary TV, then you should be ok...and the picture really is great.

Posted by: from Pittsburgh on 01/31/2012Bought for the kitchen and ended up returning it. General picture wasn't too bad. Motion blur was a huge turn off. If you plan on watching any sports especially hockey DO NOT buy this tv. Overall brightness and contrast was also poor for an LED tv.

Great Picture/Awful Speakers

Posted by: from Tulsa, OK on 01/25/2012I purchased this TV for my studio. The speakers are awful, but I connected the RCA outputs to my studio monitors and that fixed the problem. The picture is Excellent for HD Broadcast & gaming. The internal speakers sound like Tin Cans.

Maybe better as a monitor

Posted by: from Idaho on 01/25/2012This tv had really good picture quality but had nothing else going for it. The speakers are on the bottom of the tv, so the sound is not good at all. We had to turn the tv all the way up just to be able to hear it. We bought it to put in my daughters bedroom, the room is not very big and it just overall didn't work for us.

One nit: when doing setup stuff on screen, e.g., selecting screen format, the display disappears after only a few seconds; not enough time for me to look at all the choices and make a selection.

Some channels come in blurry, some come in clear
