surprisingly good sound

Posted by: fatperson from Minneapolis on 06/07/2013We get fantastic sound from the sound bar and the sub-woofer. As part of an overall upgrade of our family tv, it has been a wonderful addition. The sound is more clear and crisp and is easier to hear dialogue. We don't have to play it as loudly as we used to in order to understand what people were saying (not just for the old people, the teenagers hear the sound better, too).

good sound quality, not good bluetooth connection

I am very disappointed with the lack of consistent connectivity with bluetooth music. I have a brand new samsung computer that I placed 4 ft away from it and it still would cut out during a song about every 20 seconds. The further away I moved the computer, the worse it got. My i-phone did no better. I kept it because I heard others say that in fact ALL BLUE TOOTH connections to sound bars are spotty. True or not, I'm keeping the bar.

Sound is actually better now too. Only con is th product doesn't come with an optical cable, and the bass isn't very strong. You can adjust the bass up which helps, and when listening to music it seems much better.

Great soundbar for the price.

It has excellent sound qualities which you can adjust to your liking. It was easy to set up, but we had to provide our own cables (fortunately, we had these in our house when I set up this unit).
Also, the instructions included was great at showing the proper hook up of the unit, but lacked details of its features such as surround sound, equalizer, and CEC(whatever that is).
