Decent sound, terrible reliability1

Set up easily, had issues immediately with choosing the right input. Then, 2 months in, the sub died. And Toshiba won't send another (thankfully) but will send a coupon. It stinks so bad, they aren't replacing them!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

It does not work properly with its remote2

Not able to control it with our Logitech Harmony remote, its very speratic. The remote that came with the sound-bar works okay, but not the best. We were told by the Geek squad that programmed our remote that the 'eye' that accepts the signal from the remote was probably only good for a very short distance and only at a certain angle.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Decent soundbar except for bluetooth4

We bought this soundbar to enhance the sound of the LCD set in our bedroom and so my wife could play music and e-books through the speakers wirelessly from her iPhone. First, the good: The sound is surprisingly good, considering Toshiba is not a brand that is well-known for audio components or speakers. I particularly like the ability to adjust the bass separately to suit our needs. The sound is a distinct upgrade from the TV's built-in speakers; I even enjoy streaming Pandora radio through my Blu-ray player through the soundbar. Setup was very straightforward - our STB and Blu-ray player are connected to the soundbar via HDMI in and the soundbar is connected to the TV through the HDMI out. Everything works fine. The major disappointment is that the bluetooth feature - which was a major factor in our choosing this model - is awful. It paired easily with both my wife's and my iPhone. But the radio's range is extremely limited and it loses connectivity often enough during media playback to render the feature basically useless. And the lack of a USB port or direct Internet connectivity means there would be no way to update the firmware in the event Toshiba was able to fix the issue with a firmware update. Bottom line: DON'T buy this unit if you're looking for bluetooth support. DO buy it if you're looking for a sub-$300 soundbar with plenty of HDMI connectivity, a separate wireless subwoofer, and very good sound for the price. In the end, the bluetooth issue wasn't cause enough for us to return the unit because its other benefits still made it the best choice for us when watching TV or Blu-ray (discs or streaming) in the bedroom. Because of the bluetooth issue, I can't give it 5 stars but happy to give it 4.5 out of 5 found this review helpful.

Very Good Sound Quality, Nice EQ controls, and many Input Options, make this Soundbar a great choice.
The only point it loses, is on the Blue Tooth connection.
I played my iPad 2 from a distance of about 5 feet, and the signal would drop-out regularly.
All-in-All, Bang for the Buck, this baby does a great job. (4.5 out of 5)
