Synopsis

The interstellar war between the Autobots and Decepticons shifts into overdrive following the discovery of Sentinel Prime (voice of Leonard Nimoy) in this sequel from director Michael Bay. Only a precious handful of officials in the government and military realize that the 1969 moon mission was the result of an event that threatened profound repercussions for the entire human race. When the Apollo 11 astronauts discover the wrecked remains of Sentinel Prime on the surface of our natural satellite, they bring him back to planet Earth. But Sentinel Prime wasn't the only alien object on the moon, and when a malevolent new enemy makes its presence known, only the Autobots can save humankind from certain destruction. ~ Jason Buchanan, Rovi

Posted by: from Houston, TX on 05/09/2013The third film in the Transformers series, this film did not disappoint. Even bigger and bolder than the first two, Dark of the Moon takes the franchise to new places with new characters. It's big, loud fun. If you liked the action of the first two, definitely check this one out!

Posted by: from Puyallup, WA on 04/19/2013Mostly entertaining movie, until you start wondering if it's ever going to end. The special effects are great, excellent usage of 3D, top notch audio. It's just 30 minutes too long.

Fairly good rendition of 3D, but not real 3D

Posted by: from Knoxville, TN on 01/22/2013This film, like many "3D" videos had reasonably good 2D to 3D conversion. However, if they're not rendered natively in 3D, then viewers are not getting the true 3D experience.
