Posted by: from morrisville, pa on 05/03/2013I bought it to clone a HDD to a SSD in Win 8. It won't do it. I had 2011 and it worked great. This is garbage.

Posted by: from Doral. FL on 04/26/2013Lets you make a mirror of your hard drive, including the operating system. If a hard drive crashes, you can install a new one, restore the mirror and it is like nothing happened. Otherwise yu'd have to re-install Window, all the programs and the files that you had hopefully backed up the "old way"

Posted by: from longwood, fl. on 04/26/2013i have used acronis products over the years as my main PC backup tool, as it allows you to image the entire drive including the OS. This is ideal if you are moving to a larger hard drive, or if you somehow lose critical files.

Posted by: from Federal Way, WA on 03/08/2013I was put in charge of replacing our church's main computer. I dreaded reinstalling and configuring all the programs they had on it, but with this program, it completely transferred all programs and settings to the new hard drive and it was back and running everything in no time. Whew!

Posted by: from Sacramento California on 11/30/2012I have used Norton ghost in the past and it worked great, it saved my bacon more than once, but I always thought it could be a little easier to use. True Image 2013 really fit the bill. Both programs will get the job done, but True Image is fairly easy to set up, easy-to-use and all the extra goodies make it well worth the price of admission.
