High above the courtyard, you are holed up in the bell tower — sniper rifle ready. You peer down the scope, survey the battlefield and notice one lonely soldier wandering out into the open. You sight him into the crosshairs and move your finger to the trigger, but suddenly you're falling out of the tower. The soldier in the courtyard was a decoy. His partner was able to sneak up behind you and end this round. Next time, you'll be prepared.

Turtle Beach - Ear Force DX12 for Xbox 360 (37 out of 40)
Must Have for Xbox 360

Posted by: from Hillsborough, NC on 05/05/2013The DSS2 takes the Turtle Beach X12's to a whole new level. People say oh you can't take a non surround sound headset and get surround sound but with the DSS2 it is you can. You can pin point exactly where enemy's footsteps are to easily take him down in COD and other FPS.

Posted by: from on 03/30/2013The wires can get a little messy but I didn't want to pay the extra money for wireless. The sound quality is unbelievable! They fit me pretty well. After hours of use I can feel that they squeeze on my head kind of tight but nothing that bad.

Posted by: from on 03/03/2013wow great headphones. sound is good lots of different settings and the bass control on cable makes everything so much better.the only downside for me is the volume control on cable is always under my elbow they need to move it futher away from head but other than that im so happy. i also watch tv with them at night and they are great!

Great headset for a gamer who likes detail

Posted by: from Texas on 03/02/2013This was my first headset purchase for my Xbox. I've done plenty research on the various models by Turtle Beach and found the DX12 to be perfect. I was looking at the X12, because of the price, but did not want to give up surround sound. While the X42 is wireless and basically the same thing as DX12, I didn't want to be replacing batteries after each gaming session. I love FPS and this headset proved to be amazing for them. The quality of sound makes the maps in Modern Warfare feel as if I'm discovering them for the first time. The sound of the weaponry, as well as the character dialogue, is enough persuasion for me to buy them. During Halo 4, the sounds make you feel as if you are there. I also love how they fit. They completely encompass your ears to a point you forget you are wearing them. I played the Sniper Elite V2 demo with this headset, and it definitely took the game to a whole new level. If you are in the market for a headset, I definitely recommend these. While they do carry a heavier price tag, your money will not be wasted!

Good headphones for gaming and music on my PC

Posted by: from Shenandoah, VA on 02/09/2013I use these for my PC. I would buy these headphones again. I really like size of the headphones they completely cover your ear. These are comfortable for hours of play while the kids watch TV. I really like the in-line controls for volume so I don't have to exit from a game to minimize the volume. While I have not used these for MP3 headphones they look like they would hold up well for that too.
