I researched several models and had previously purchased a Vizio that I've had for around 5 years. It's been a great TV, so I decided to go with them again. I'm not dissapointed. The picture seems a little bright on the sides at times, but it's not bothersome. I will say that (as will all HDTVs) you should have HD service if you buy one. The picture quality isn't great at the 50" size I purchased if you're not viewing HD programing. My only complaint is that the "apps" that come with the TV are lacking when it comes to items peope will actually use and the remote doesn't have a hidden keyboard that slides out to make typing easier. If you are looking for quality, but don't want to spend a lot of money, I think this TV will be a good choice for you.

It was easy to set up and has a great picture and price! My only hangup is that I cannot figure out how to get the picture to use the full screen. I have tried the widescreen/stretch/etc options and it still has a black border around it. I need to do some research....

This TV has excellent picture quality and the built-in sound is very good also. This is our 1st Smart TV and we were very surprised at how easy it was to set up and get connected to our wireless network. At this price for this size Smart TV, you can't go wrong.
