The Promise
Social Interaction
For the first time, gamers can share their epic triumphs online with a press of the controller's Share button. Simply scan through the last few minutes of gameplay, tag it and return to the game — the video seamlessly uploads in the background as the gamer plays. Plus, share images and videos online with friends on social networking services such as Facebook.
Social Interaction
Gamers can also broadcast their gameplay in real time to friends using live Internet streaming services like Ustream. Friends can comment and even join in to help as the game is being played.
And on the PS4 menu screen, players can view game-related information shared by friends, as well as recommended content, including games, TV shows and movies.
Gaming Without the Wait
The new Suspend Mode preserves the active game session in memory while switching to a low-power state, allowing gamers to hit the power button and immediately pick up where they left off. Users can also run applications, such as a Web browser, while playing a game.
Updates and purchased games download in the background during gameplay or in stand-by mode. And digital titles that you buy are immediately playable, with the PS4 downloading just a fraction of the data to start with while the rest of your purchase downloads in the background during gameplay.

Controls
The newly designed DualShock 4 controller, PlayStation 4 Eye camera, and second-screen capabilities add new dimensions of interaction.
DualShock 4 Controller
For responsive gameplay, the controller incorporates a new, highly sensitive six-axis sensor as well as a two-point capacitive touch pad with click mechanism.
Touch Pad
Located on the top of the controller, the touch pad offers gamers completely new
ways to play and interact with games. DualShock response technology
enables you to feel the intensity of battle through
vibration feedback.
Light Bar
During gameplay, the light bar illuminates in different colors and patterns to differentiate between multiple players and provide other valuable information.
Share Button
The new feature allows you to easily share your in-game experience. The controller can be charged while the system is on standby, through a dedicated charging station, or via convenient USB smartphone chargers.
PlayStation 4 Eye
The newly developed PlayStation 4 Eye incorporates two high-sensitivity cameras that have wide-angle lenses with 85-degree diagonal angle views which can precisely recognize the depth of space.
PlayStation 4 Eye
Four integrated microphones accurately capture sound origins.
PlayStation 4 Eye
Users can log in to their PS4 with face recognition, then use body movements or voices to enjoy games more intuitively. The Eye also senses the color of the DualShock 4's light bar to judge positions of multiple players, and supports the PlayStation Move motion controller.
Second Screens
Gamers can extend the PS4 environment using a second screen. The PlayStation Vita can become the ultimate companion device, offering remote play of PS4 titles. The PlayStation App enables smartphones and tablets to also become second screens, letting users interact with games they are playing, remotely watch other gamers play, and purchase games from almost anywhere yet the games download directly to their home console.
