A good purchase overall5

This phone replaced a Blackberry I had for several years. And it is a terrific replacement!
Bought it to use for two things: check (not respond to) my email and use as a - gasp - phone! It works very well in both instances. Like everyone else, I wish it had a longer battery life. However, I don't use it to play games on the internet, send endless texts, or otherwise use it for non-phone things, so the battery duration is acceptable. I find the reception is excellent, even in places where other phones seem to have difficulty locating a signal. Overall, I consider it excellent value for the cost.
Sorry, Blackberry, but this little $99 phone can do everything you do and much more.- Age : 65 and above

never had a 'smart" phone before but had to move up. got this to make texting with my kids easier...but it isn't. i have VERY small fingers but they overlap like crazy. i guess i should have gotten a qwerty keyboard. the keys present a raised pad to let your fingers get one & only one key at a time.
that said, the call clarity & volume are better than what i had.
since i have small hands, i wish it were just a bit smaller. would be great for a man.
not thrilled. but didn't expect to be. i hate "progress!"- Age : 65 and above

For the price, it's a great phone! It has all the functions I need. The only issue I have is that the email doesn't always upload. Other than that, I am pleased!- Age : 35-44

Well worth the price. It is fast and I enjoy using this phone. I have had trouble with the short battery. Also I can't make good connections where I work in the city. There are many applications available for it. It is light and fits easily in my shirt pocket. It also charges quickly.- Age : 65 and above
