This Camera is not worth anything
1
Posted by: from NJ on 03/21/2012I used this camera for work photos. The picture look fine on the small screen. Once I uploaded them to my computer, they were fuzz and out of focus. The picture quality is very bad. The flash never worked even with it turned on.

Posted by: from Bay Area on 03/18/2012I am not a big spender when it comes to consumer electronics and I don't pay much attention to product reviews/ratings, so I thought I would give this camera a try. Well, the camera is so poorly manufactured that I returned it the next day for a refund. seriously, my camera phone takes better pictures. This camera is not worth the price. A disposable camera is better. Don't waste your time or money!

My phone that has no flash took better pictures!

Posted by: from Wichita, Ks. on 01/25/2012I bought the camera to take with me on a trip so I didn't have to carry the bigger and obviously better camera. I am so glad I had my phone with me. I got better pictures from it. I guess I am not too surprised since I paid $24.00 for it. Still disappointed.

Not a good camera for an adult

Posted by: from Houston, Texas on 01/25/2012The picture quality is extremely poor. I was expecting to receive a better picture quality for the price.

Very compact, but terrible quality

Posted by: from on 01/20/2012I bought this as a gift for my son. The camera must be perfectly still to avoid blurred pictures. The first set of batteries lasted for only one day (about 50 pictures). The camera stopped working completely on the third day of use and was returned for a higher quality Nikon camera. This Vivitar camera is cheap, but so was the quality.

Posted by: from austin, tx on 01/16/2012just needed a cheap camera for my simple grandparents and that what you get with this camera. simple point and shoot. if you dont have great lighting then the pic comes out fuzzy, if you use the flash, the pic doesnt always come out nice. but i would say its a 50/50 chance and for my g-parents, thats good enough. i should have spent a little more though and got something a little better but with the same simple use.

Ok for the price

Posted by: from Kansas city on 01/14/2012It's a cheap camera and you get what you pay for. Pictures are grainy and dark. Would recommend you spend a few more bucks and get a better camera. You'll end up doing it in the long run so save some money and do it now.

Purchased as a gift for 5 year old daughter. Nice!

Posted by: from Holopaw, FL on 01/12/2012I haven't downloaded any of the photos taken on this camera yet so I am not aware of it's ease or difficulty of operation. I have a different new camera received as a gift that is very sweet! I'll have to report more later on for this one. My daughter is thrilled to see photos on her little display of what she has taken and is equally excited to be allowed to snap photos as she sees them. She likes to take the kids impression of what you are doing when you have your camera in operation. Monkey see... Monkey do...

Good Camera for a Child
2
Posted by: from Coral Springs, FL on 01/11/2012I bought this camera for my 4-year old daughter as a gift, so that she can explore the wonderful world of photography. She is interested, and has been asking to use my camera, which is a little to expensive for her. The camera's picture quality is fair, at best for a 7.1MP camera. I bought it primarilly because the price was right, and if it breaks...no big deal. The pictures are a little blurry, but not sure if that is the camera, or my daughter. Honestly, if the camera were for me, I would have brought it back by now to the store. But is is good for her for now. I will upgrade her to a better camera when she gets older.

Don't waste your money

Posted by: from AR on 01/09/2012I bought this for my 8 yr old daughter and I wasn't expecting top quality but the camera is even worse than I anticipated. Photos aren't sharp and it's horrid in low light. My phone takes much better images. I realize it's inexpensive and geared towards beginners and kids but it was a waste of $40.

Worse than a toy

Posted by: from on 12/23/2011This camera was something I had no choice but to use over the summer I bought it at a church sale and thought I got a deal until I actually saw the images. Large areas of soft blurry jpeg artifacts, what you expect because the camera *HAS NO LENS* That's right it uses some kind of pinhole camera TECHNOLOGY. I had one of the first digital camera in 1997 the Kodak DC40 and it took pictures better than this thing. Well, I'm unemployed so I couldn't justify getting anything better, but in my archives this year will always be represented by these stained, cruddy, horribly splotchy images. It was only *JUST* better than nothing.

Don’t waist your time Not the good deal it looks

Posted by: from atl on 12/19/2011Don’t waist your time Not the good deal it looks like. I bought it for my son. Its so bad I cant give it to a child. It should sell for $5 as a disposable camera. Actually I have had better throw away cameras. I have had Vivitar in the past and they were good .This one is sub par.

difficult to understand directions

Posted by: from sneads ferry nc on 11/09/2011All my pictures were focused incorrectly. After several attempts to correct this I gave up. It is a very poor quality excuse for a camera!

I hate this camera
1
Posted by: from san Antonio, tx on 08/24/2011I hate this camera, it only can zoom in so far. Which is not a clear picture. I wish I could throw it out the window. I hate it more that I bought it right before a vacation. All my pictures are either blurry or not clear to see. My camera phone takes better pictures than this camera.

Out of focus
1
Posted by: from Los Angeles, CA on 08/23/2011I was just looking for a simple, cheap camera to let the kids play with. I thought this would be sufficient. However, the pictures were all out of focus. Every button push produces an annoying beep that cannot be turned off in any of the settings. For about twice the price you can get a camera that is ten times better than this thing.

Vivicam 7020

Posted by: from Columbia, SC on 05/30/2011Do not bother with this camera, pay extra and avoid this one. There is no autofocus so if you want all your pictures blurry, then this one is for you. We just needed a inexpensive camera for work because people keep stealing the good ones and decided to try a cheapy. Not worth the effort!! Let them steal it and they will never come back.
