Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Brand of the Beast
Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) is exposed to a massive dose of radiation, which triggers the mutated rabies virus to which he was exposed in the earlier episode "Werewolf". He is transformed into a werewolf at intervals, and a danger to everyone around him. Captain Crane (David Hedison) tries to have his friend confined and sedated to protect the crew and the ship, but that fails, and soon the admiral finds himself faced with one choice left to him, a one-way trip to the bottom of the ocean, out of the way of endangering anyone. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Creature
The Seaview is on a mission to track an artificially-created sea creature -- resembling a gigantic Portuguese man-o-war -- with Dr. Horace King (Lyle Bettger), the creator of the new life form. What Nelson (Richard Basehart) and Crane (David Hedison) don't know is that the creature is quite capable of defending itself -- and that it has already taken control of Dr. King. Before Nelson can prevent it, Crane and much of the crew have been taken over as well, leaving the admiral and a handful of men to fight off their shipmates and Dr. King, and destroy this menace. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Shadowman
The Seaview is assigned to launch an interstellar space probe. But before the launch can take place, the ship is attacked underwater and absorbed into the body of a gigantic alien vessel. The crew awakens to discover the submarine surrounded by total darkness. While Nelson (Richard Basehart) and Crane (David Hedison) are trying to figure out where they are and what to do about it, a totally black alien figure -- looking like a walking shadow -- appears aboard ship and proceeds to take over the crew, turning them against Nelson as he struggles to free the sub. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Fossil Men
The Seaview is drawn by strange sounds on the hydrophones, and unaccountable turbulence, to a mysterious corner of the ocean where a British fleet disappeared many years before. Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) and Captain Crane (David Hedison) encounter a race of Rock Men, huge, immensely strong, all-but-invulnerable creatures made of stone, and being led by Captain Jacob Wren (Brendan Dillon), the half-fossilized, all-insane survivor from one of those British ships. He has already taken over one of the crew, and plans to use the Seaview to help in his plan to conquer the world. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Heat Monster
The Seaview receives a distress call from the arctic base of Dr. Olaf Bergstrom (Alfred Ryder). When they arrive, they find the laboratory destroyed, the doctor unconscious, and a strange, glowing block of ice. Once aboard the ship, the ice melts and reveals the presence of an alien creature brought to Earth by Dr. Bergstrom, a being comprised of flames and capable of incinerating anyone or anything around it -- and it wants Admiral Nelson and the Seaview to direct the sub's heat ray on the ice below the laboratory, or it will destroy him and the ship. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Death From the Past
The Seaview is drawn to a mysterious undersea formation, where they discover a German-built underwater base -- from the Nazi era. Also present are two men (John Van Dreelan, Jan Merlin) in suspended animation, now revived and just as dedicated to victory for the Third Reich as they were in 1945. While Nelson and Crane struggle to repair the submarine, which has been damaged by a mine, the two revived Nazis begin making plans to attack the capital cities of the Allied nations, but not with their antiquated V-weapons -- instead, they're going to use the Seaview's nuclear missiles. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Mummy
The Seaview is assigned a mission to the Middle East, carrying a precious cargo -- a 3000-year-old sarcophagus, part of a national treasure being returned in hope of stabilizing a friendly nation. But Captain Crane (David Hedison) seems to be adversely affected by the presence of the mummy, suffering fainting spells that get him relieved of his command by Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart). Soon the ship is being sabotaged, and it seems there is more life left in the ancient cargo than anyone could reasonably have expected. And somehow tied to the mummy's wanderings are Crane's mysterious spells and lapses. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Mermaid
While on the Seaview's glass-nosed observation deck, Captain Crane (David Hedison) spots a mermaid (Diane Webber) swimming ahead of the ship. No one else believes him, but he is unable to lose his fixation on this creature, and eventually goes out on his own to search for her. After finding the mermaid and bringing her aboard, Crane suddenly finds himself faced with two additional pressing tasks -- a deadly sea monster that comes aboard, seemingly searching for the mermaid; and a mission to track down and disarm a hidden super-powered nuclear weapon hidden in nearby waters. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Destroy Seaview!
While searching for samples of a dangerous new element, Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) -- who has been brainwashed by an enemy power -- seals Captain Crane (David Hedison) and visiting scientist Dr. Land (Arthur Space) in a cavern. He returns to Seaview claiming to be the only survivor of a cave-in, and sets about his programmed mission. But the crew of the Seaview soon start wondering if everything is right with the admiral, and if the captain might still be alive. A race against time ensues to prevent the admiral from completing his mission and destroying Seaview. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Deadly Cloud
The Earth in endangered by a series of catastrophic disasters, all seemingly natural -- until Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) discovers that they're all tied to the presence of a high-altitude cloud that has appeared. When aircraft and missiles fail to survive encounters with the cloud, the submarine Seaview is sent to investigate. Nelson and Captain Crane (David Hedison) discover that the cloud is the work of alien invaders seeking to destroy the Earth for her mineral wealth. They capture Crane and send an imposter back aboard, with orders to stop Nelson and destroy the ship if necessary. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: The Wax Men
Captain Crane (David Hedison) reports aboard the submarine Seaview for a new mission, transporting a mysterious cargo, and discovers that all isn't right with the ship or the crew, mostly the latter. They're all present, but they don't look or act right -- their features are waxen and their movements are slow. But before he can learn any more about what has happened, a mysterious man (Michael Dunn) in a clown suit appears and tries to shoot him. Crane saves himself and tries to figure out what has happened, while being pursued by the clown and the wax automotons. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: Doomsday Island
The submarine Seaview finds what appears to be a giant egg, while scouting an uncharted island -- and after it's brought aboard, the thing hatches a deadly amphibious creature. This leads Captain Crane (David Hedison) back to the island, and an encounter with a race of aliens from the planet Scorpius, who are planning to invade Earth and want to use the Seaview's nuclear reactor to hasten the hatching of the eggs containing their army. Crane must find a way to get back to the ship, while Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) must find a way to stop the invaders. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi

Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea: No Escape From Death
The Seaview is attacked by an enemy submarine while searching for a secret underwater base. Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) and Captain Crane (David Hedison) try desperately to get the stricken ship off the bottom, and Crane must rescue one crewman (Paul Carr) from a repair mission gone awry. While repair crews work to raise the sub, Crane tries to carry out the original mission, taking a diving party out to try and reach the undersea base. Before they can get there, however, they're attacked by a giant sea creature, and must struggle to save themselves. ~ Bruce Eder, Rovi
