This is the perfect solution for backing up all my sewing and embroidery files, pictures, and other files. This little HD is small enough to be convenient yet fast and quiet. I would definitely recommend this to another buyer.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

Originally bought this hard drive to store our wedding pictures from our photographer. The read/write rate is super fast. I now have it connected to my iMac as a time capsule. Didnt have to install any software and just set up the time capsule to back up every night. I have had this product for almost a year and I am very pleased,0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

I have TONS of pictures stored on my computer and we had storms wipe out our computer more than once. We had to have the geek squad retrieve my pictures a few times, and honestly, I was scared while my PC was in the shop that they weren't going to be able to save all my photos. Well, after they were saved, thankfully, I wanted to get some external storage. I was looking into buying a bunch of smaller flash drives because I didn't know they made a big one like this with so much capacity... and at such a great price. So, I was in Best buy, saw it, and immediately had to have it. And it's PERFECT. I have 5 years of pictures and videos (43,500 pictures and 676 videos) on this drive and it's filled to just about half. (278 GB of 465 GB) It's very easy to use, and quick to load pictures into and take pictures out of. No complaints and I do recommend this product fully! I like that if my house is ever on fire I can just quickly grab my hard drive and know that every picture and video I've taken the past 5 years will be safe and all in one drive. The blue color is awfully bright, but I just plugged it in and it worked. Speed seems to be relatively good, though I don't have USB3 yet. I have only had it about a month so not much info on reliability; have had good luck with WD in the past.0 out of 0 found this review helpful.
