Excellent Tablet
5
Posted by: Neener415 from Los Angeles on 05/18/2013This is my first tablet. I have terrible pain in my wrists from using the mouse and the PC since I am on the computer all day! I bought this tablet and couldn't be happier! It is also worth the money to invest in a wireless kit so you can work with the tablet wirelessly.
For my business I have to edit photos using Photoshop and this tablet makes it so easy while releasing the stress on my wrists from continuous mouse motion.

Easy to use tool for beginning artists
4
Posted by: psyche007 from Hartford, CT on 04/26/2013The wacom capture tablet is a great tool for beginning digital artists. It gives you a variety of tools and options to bring our your creativity. It is easy to set up and fun to use, It provides an easy and flexible way to draw directly on to the computer and then share your drawings.
A few items to nit-pick - the construction is sturdy, but I cant get over the feeling that the tablet can be broken easily. Also, the sound which the pen makes on the tablet might be irritating to some people ( it is irritating to me, but not to many others who used it).
In short, a relatively inexpensive digital tablet for artists.

lots of potential

Posted by: CBRB from Franklin, MA on 04/13/2013This product was recommended by someone in my Photoshop Elements class. She uses it heavily for editing photos. It definitely has a learning curve and I am still at the beginning. I see the potential though. I just need to practice.

Posted by: Jpruett386 from Spring, TX on 04/06/2013Great item for the money + Photoshop Elements 10!! It is very easy to use. I am amazed it doesn't cost more. I am not familiar with the higher end pads, however, I am impressed with how easy and fun it is to draw with.

Nice, Inexpensive Tablet
4
Posted by: BluuGirl from Salt Lake City, UT on 02/24/2013I got this tablet to start working on my digital art. I have a tight budget, and my boyfriend recommended this tablet to me, since it's relatively cheaper than other tablets that do the same thing. It works great!! I love how thin and portable it is, easy to get set up on my computer, and super easy to use.
That being said, there's a couple things to keep in mind. The cord that connects the tablet to the computer is far too short, and unless you're sitting right up to your computer and practically sitting on your desk, it won't reach close enough and you could get a wrist cramp. If possible, I recommend purchasing a longer cord separately. Also, handle with care! I made the mistake of putting it in my bag with my laptop and the port connecting the cord to the tablet was damaged, so I have to hold the cord in with one hand for it to stay connected. But that's really my fault, not necessarily a design flaw.
All in all, I highly recommend this tablet to any digital artist with a tight budget!! Great value!

Great for starters....but the software...

Posted by: bennyzsd from San Diego, Ca on 02/06/2013The product is great, especially for my teenage daughter to do her drawings. It integrates well with Autosketch and the Photoshop software.
However, it messes up the boot setting of the Dell, computer (Window 7) that I have to unplug and cold boot it every time after she uses it. The other problem is, after you unplug the tablet, you have to go to the process manager and kill the bamboo processes, or the whole computer operates to a halt.
I don't know if its the Dell that is the handicap, because I have an HP with AMD chip, would operate normally with no problem with Bamboo.
