Posted by: lilolola from New York, NY on 05/17/2013Maybe it is the mix I am using, but I set it to the highest setting to make the waffles crunchy, but it is only crunchy for 2mins tops then it gets all soggy and nasty. It is the steam that makes it soggy. If you put too much it'll "spit" out the batter but no worries, because there is a little tray under it. Maybe i will try a different batter. But other than the steam making the waffles soggy, it is great. The waffle does not get stuck to the iron which is awesome.

Excellent for making many waffles tt

The heat setting is very precise allowing me to make crispy waffles. The griddles stay hot over the 2 hours we use it without having to wait between waffles. Overall, I am very satisfied with this waffle maker and look forward to many more waffle Wednesday's.
