    Really neat gadget

    Posted by: from MS USA on 08/14/2011Recently reworked my home entertainment ctrs, and wanted full internet/PC app capability on the big screen. Did NOT want to go set top PC, etc. Tried the Warpia device, and it works perfectly. Setup was very straightforward, no issues, Had a little bit of confusion on screeen resolution fitting, but a couple of mouse clicks fixed that. The software is simple and effective for setup.

    Great for Conference Room

Saw this in a review and noticed it had VGA as well as HDMI so would work with our projector. Pretty easy to set up. Each laptop that wants to use it needs to load software but it takes less than 5 minutes for each laptop and then your done. We leave the PC USB dongle in the conference room and then anyone who wants to use it just comes in and plugs it in and it always works. Even Streamed the NCAA BB tourney some time ago in the office. Everyone was pretty impressed with it.

    Wireless Access to my PC

    Posted by: from Lubbock, TX on 05/02/2011I purchased the Warpia unit from BestBuy.com last week after reading about it in Maxim Magazine. It said that I could stream anything from my computer to my TV wirelessly and that it was pretty easy to use. I was prepared to call in the Geek Squad to help with set up but after getting the unit and walking through the set up, I was up and running within about 15 minutes. I am really impressed. It's cool because I can play videos from online and still use my laptop screen for other things. I didn't realize that it had to be within line of site of the TV until I tried to use it from another room and it didn't work. That's my fault because it says it right on the box but I didn't read it. I would recommend this product to others as it is just what I was looking for and I am not seriously considering getting rid of my Directv subscription and just using this to play videos on my TV. BestBuy.com's shipping time was super fast as always.
