XFX - ATI Radeon HD 5570 1GB DDR3 PCI Express Graphics Card (8 out of 8)
Wth, there are audio drivers on the install disk

Posted by: from Michigan on 07/05/2011BEWARE NEWBIES AND PEOPLE IN A HURRY! If you select regular install when installing drivers it will also install an audio driver. In my case it deleted my onboard soundcards Realtek High Definition Audio Drivers and so far I've been having issue's trying to get the ati sound driver off my system. Tried everything I can think of so far, with the exception of manually uninstalling the ATI Drivers and so far its had no luck removing them. Also XFX's Help line isnt open till 11pm EST, so you're pretty much out of luck if you can't stand not listening to music for more than 10 minutes (as I am.. I'm going nuts without my music and I'm getting pretty annoyed by the local radio station) Otherwise the card is great so far, then again I don't have any new games to test it with either.

Posted by: from Richmond VA on 06/21/2011One of the best Gpu Cores out there, It has DVI output only you will need a VGA Adaptor. Runs GTA 4 on my AMD 955 quad with WinXP 32 @ average of 32 frames most settings on meduim or high. Also it requires no extra power jack in!!

Posted by: from IL on 06/11/2011It's my first time buying a video card. And I didnt have any trouble installing it to my HP pavilion. But good thing I research first because it requires 400watts or more from my Power supply so I have to upgrade mine. And I'm ok with this video card having only a DVI output since I have an LED monitor that also has a DVI input. And now I can play my starcraft 2 and Left4dead2 in high settings online without any lag... and it also have a quite fan.

Great video card
5
Posted by: from Manassas, Va on 03/02/2011I could already run Starcraft II with my integrated card, but that just stinks of course. This one can run almost run it on full settings, but that is really the only PC game I play these days. Beyond that you can hook up to 3 monitors using this one card, so that alone is pretty neat feature. This card is very simple to install, and takes very little time. Great for someone who doesn't know a lot about installing hardware in their machine. Make sure you get another power supply if needed, the stock power supplies are usually only enough to power what is already inside. Just a heads up if you haven't done this before.

Good card for the price

Posted by: from PGH,PA on 08/05/2010Got this card as a quick fix to my BFG 9800gtx 1GB OC that fried and BFG wouldn't make good on their Lifetime warranty! WARNING BFG Is getting out of the Videocard market do not buy BFG video cards! / end rage.. Anyways This is a good card for the money. If you play World of warcraft you will still see low frame rates in Dalaran at max settings. But its great everywhere else. If you are replacing an Nvidia product with ATI HD XXXX- whatever # make sure you remove your old Nvidia drivers, Its very important! The two mix like oil and water. I would be interested to see how this card does on the demanding first person shooters of today. But not enough to load one up Besides I have a Lich king (herioc) to kill in WOW. Runs cool and doesn't draw much wattage.

Posted by: from Towson, MD on 06/21/2010Upgrades Windows 7 32 bit graphic experience rating to 6.7 Downloaded & installed latest drivers from ATI Reinstalled "HP My Display 1.35" to recognize my HPw2007 monitor and run @ correct screen resolution. New card is very quiet & was easy to install The Catalist Control conflicts with Net Framework & can not be used. Just down load the card driver and use windows 7 or monitor controls

Decent for Price

Posted by: from Ft Worth on 05/16/2010Runs Decent can play most games, have not tried Battlefield Bad Company 2. I do Run Mass Effect 2 on Max Out. My Moniter is 21" Dell Wide Screen Max out at 1600x900. This Card is equivelent as my Nvdia 9800 GTX 512 Buts funny that grand theft auto runs on Higher settings than my old card because it has more memory. Still testing and i did Eye Ball the XFX 5570 1GB DDR5. Seems much Better. Fan is Quiet.
