Android apps not plug and play. Check specs to see is you Android phone is listed. If not, you will not be able to use your apps. Supposedly they are expanding the compatibility. Detected the satellite signal in a place I never thought it would. However the lack of basic treble and bass controls and MP3 recording does limit it's capabilities. Still a good basic unit.

Posted by: roxiebing from on 05/10/2013This is a great product on all aspects. The price is quite affordable. The receiver itself works like a charm. The installation was quite easy for me. It took me less an hour to run and tuck the thin cables from the back of my truck through the inside to the dashboard. After calling XM to activate the radio, within a hour or so was listening to a wide variety of music and baseball. Highly recommend!
