To be fair, I didn't wait the 12 hours to use my tablet after applying, but come on it still shouldn't have messed it up. Spent an hour on phone with Lenovo to trouble shoot, reset to factory and still the screen wouldn't work AFTER i removed the product even. Had to RMA the tablet, waited 2 weeks and then even more grief, online retailer was out of stock and issued refund, so had to pay $20 more plus Sales Tax to buy one locally. This product caused me nothing but grief, and time and money wasted. Go naked, don't risk it.

And, during the installation of the product, I had to pull it off the screen of the tablet on several times. This was because the sheild itself isn't rigid/firm at all and would fold as a sheet of paper would if you only held it at one end.
Due to this one corner of the sheild curled around far enough to touch the contact side and I couldn't get it apart without fingerprinting the contact surface numerous times.
Garbage....
I have used this product before on smartphones and it is similar, but much easier to handle because of its size.
See if you can get someone with experience using the product to install it for you, if you don't think you can install it yourself without too much difficulty.
