Very poor battery life3

I was excited to hear about the hotspot so I could get away from using my USB hotspot and call interuption when using my cell phone as the hotspot. However, very disappointed on the battery life, in general, it's horrible~!0 out of 0 found this review helpful.

The item is such an enhancement to having a laptop in a rural area where we have had no Internet service and no cell phone service. The drawback was the "sticker shock" when I got the bill: start up costs, data fees, and a 2-year contract that costs a bundle to get out of. I was only advised by Best Buy that Iit was $30/mo and I would receive $100 off the price of my computer purchase. I'm sorry I was so overwhelmed with my first purchase of a computer because of my lack of Tech experience that I didn't even see the fine print, let alone read it.1 out of 2 found this review helpful.

no one tells you that you have to pay for data as you would with a cell phone when using this product if i wanted to pay for data usage i would have just gotten a cell phone instead!!!1 out of 2 found this review helpful.

I got this device after having a Best Buy worker told me that I would save a $100 dollar off an IPad I was purchasing. The device was free. It came with a two contract and 5gb per month for $50. It was good enough for my needs. They do have more GB for more $. Overall this product works great. I can take it internationally . All I have to do is purchase a SIM card out there. Great device to connect as many as 8 devices but was recommend to connect 5 without having any serious speed loss. I'm happy with this product.1 out of 1 found this review helpful.

I was very disappointed that the cost turned out to be nearly three times the cost of Cable. If you do not use it much, then perhaps it would be worth using.... but if you don't use it much.... why have it.
