Synopsis

Synopsis
This expansion pack for Zoo Tycoon 2 lets you bring long-lost beasts back to life. In Extinct Animals, you'll face new gameplay challenges with more than 30 new animals from bygone days. From a Tyrannosaurus Rex to a dodo bird to a saber-toothed cat, there is an array of prehistoric pleasures just waiting to be discovered. Interactive educational information is presented in the Zoopedia, which provides interesting facts as well as the specific dietary and habitat needs of each animal.

Recover escaped dinosaurs in the first-person Tranquilizer mode. Create new animals in the Extinct Research Lab. Search for hidden fossils around the zoo and get help from new characters, including paleontologists. An interactive tutorial teaches players how to better manage their zoo. Fantastic creatures once again roam the Earth in Zoo Tycoon 2: Extinct Animals.
