The in-store pickup worked well and the item was installed and ready to go in minutes. The seamless interface with the Fax program allowed for quick conversion to a new PC while maintaining system operation. Customer was VERY satisfied and as the IT I was pleased that it made the job go fast and simple.

This modem was a great purchase in that regard; we receive electronic copies with no extra steps for scanning physical documents. No more worrying about toner levels or paper jams, just easily handled documents delivered to our desktops.
Set up is a breeze, with clear step-by-step instructions for multiple software platforms.
This is a great buy if you need to set up a basic fax server without a lot of tinkering on the insides of your computer. Highly recommended.

no support for 2008 server

Posted by: JodiW from Alaska on 01/07/2012This modem was intended to buy us some time to research new fax machines, but using the Windows Fax & Scan program (already installed on our Vista desktop) has been so easy and mostly problem-free that we may not buy a new machine. The only drawback is that faxes are sent and received at the one workstation, but we are a small enough office that it works.
