A Remarkable Film; A Decent Transfer Posted by: from: Seattle, WA on Stanley Kubrick is often regarded as the greatest of all filmmakers for his consistent twist of genre. This film is breathtaking in more ways than one. It can be very offensive at times, but in those times it is also very theatrical. I would recommend this to anyone who hasn't seen it and to all who have and want a better transfer of it.

Thought Provoking Posted by: from: on A very smartly done psychological film which explores the necessity of extreme punishment. The color and clarity in this blu Ray is amazing.

A Clockwork Orange Posted by: from: on This is a classic though disturbing movie. It requires the viewer to think. It is not a feel good movie. If you want some laughs from Kubrick, watch Dr. Strangelove.

Incredibly Intriguing Posted by: from: Wisconsin on I love this piece from Stanley Kubrick. It's a pretty psychadellic movie that's just bizarre and original. The message is clear as well.

A great movie! Posted by: from: on The movie is weird but still a good movie. A classic movie that looks really good on blue ray.

Still a classic Posted by: from: on I purchased the Blu-ray edition to see if it was worthwhile to replace my older DVD titles. Frankly, the answer is no. I could not discern a significant difference between the two formats, whereas newer movies are definitely superior in Blu-ray. As to the film itself, Kubrick created a cinema masterpiece. Anthony Burgess, author of the original story, was furious with Kubrick for changing the ending, but the film version is vastly superior.

Bonus features provide context for important movie Posted by: from: Sparta, MI on I already owned the regular "Clockworck" DVD, which only had the trailer as a bonus feature. Found the BluRay on sale for $8 and bought it for the wealth of bonus features. Well worth the money. The movie raises troubling but unavoidable moral questions that Anthony Burgess (author of the novel the film is based on) and director Stanley Kubrick seem to have regretted presenting so explicitly. The bonus features don't let them, or anyone else, off the hook.

A very bizarre classic movie Posted by: from: on Great movie, the image quality of the Blu-ray was OK, even though I have seen better conversions to Blu-ray.
