A Few Good Lines Posted by: from: OHio on A Few Good Men is a movie about honor truth and the fued between army and navy. There are some famous lines in this movie but the only one that comes to mind is the," YOU CAN"T HANDLE THE TRUTH!!"...which by the way is very moving up to that point of the movie. I think that this movie is recommended because it does bring up some very interesting points on moral values and what is right. Yay...an inspirational movie at last.

great courtroom drama Posted by: from: on This could very well be the best courtroom drama ever made! A brash Navy lawyer (Tom Cruise) is reluctantly recruited by a litigator (Demi Moore) to defend 2 Marines who killed one of their own at Guantanamo Bay. He finds unexpected resistance in the defendants' superior (Jack Nicholson). The final courtroom confrontation between Cruise & Nicholson always gives me goosebumps.

Tom vs Jack & one of the best courtroom movies. Posted by: from: on It all comes down to the last courtroom scene with Tom Cruise vs Jack Nicholson. I love the cast in this movie and all the other courtroom scenes....but Tom and Jack seal the deal.

One of the best movies. Posted by: from: Atlanta on Awesome movie. Everyone is casted into their roles very well: Cruise, Nicholson, Demi & even Keifer. The writing of Aaron Sorkin is top class as well. An excellent choice for any DVD collection.

A Few Controversial men Posted by: from: Hyattsville Maryland on A Few Good men stars Tom Cruise as united states navy lieutenant Daniel kaffee, jack Nicholson as marine Colonel Nathan R. Jessup, and Demi moore as navy lieutenant commander joanne Galloway, and j.t walsh as jessup’s assistant and executive officer. Kevin bacon, keith Sutherland, cuba gooding jr., and Joshua malina are among the multiple actors/actress featured in this movie. The trouble begans when a young marine by the name of William santiago is found dead in his barracks at Guantanamo naval base cuba. Santiago was wanting to transfer out of his workplace but Jessup felt that it was unnecessary. The character of Jessup is shown quoting that he goes by the needs of the marines. This belief is not wrong, it is something else that I must avoid saying out of courtesy for those who have yet to see the movie that makes a person with a conscience shake their head at the Jekyll and hyde nature of colonel Nathan r jessup . Although a dramatic movie, my favorite scene of the movie was when the character of Nathan r Jessup was called to the court room stand because Nicholson’s shrewd portrayal of colonel Nathan r. Jessup also brought out the best in the character portrayals that came from Tom Cruise, Demi moore, and kevin bacon. There are multiple military references in A Few Good men such as the judge advocate general corps and it depicted in the movie that the setting was meant to portray the Washington navy yard.

A classic must see Posted by: from: Iowa on This is one of my favorite movies. Who doesn't know about the classic Jack Nicholson line that made this movie famous? The acting is great, as is the plot. This movie has a great cast, with so many of the actors giving great performances. There is not only drama, in this movie, but also comedic moments. This is definately one of those movies you will want in your collection.

Here's Jack Posted by: from: Dallas (Oak Cliff), Tx on I really loved this movie, and is one of the reason why I started liking Tom Cruise, if you wanna know the truth-You can't handle the truth. Great line. Demi Moore was good, even with her clothes on. Now Jack was nothing but than great, but did you expect anything less from him.

A gripping drama around military ethics Posted by: from: on I have seen the movie a number of times. Jack Nicholson was extra-ordinarily brilliant and Tom Cruise's portrayal of a man growing out of his father's shadow was equally brilliant.

Excellent older movie Posted by: from: on "You Cant Handle the Truth" This movie will stay in my movie library, a true classic. I enjoyed this movie years ago when it was a hit, and I still enjoy watching it now. Jack Nicholson is one of my all time favorite actors.
