An ok comedy Posted by: from: on I read some not so great reviews but decided to buy this anyway since it was on sale. I'm not sure if it was the low expectations, but I actually enjoyed this. Worth checking out.

Good Filthy Fun! Posted by: from: on If you like Seth McFarlane's sense of humor then you'll love this quirky western which explores and explodes every western cliche/myth and is filled with the foul language you would expect and hilarious performances by everyone. How often do you get to see a flower stuck in macho Liam Neeson's butt? Prepare to also laugh your butt off. Cleverly done.

Handful of laughs, otherwise painfully long Posted by: from: on This was pretty rough. I went in with low expectations and they were met. Seth McFarland really shouldn't be the star in his own films. The filmed reeked with Seth's hubris, to the point where he's the dreamy nice guy that someone so out of his league, Charlize Theron, would throw herself at him to her own peril. I gave it two stars because there were a handful of laughs, by very few and far between through a long running time. While I'm glad I only paid $5 for the film, it's also upsetting that I paid $5 for it. If you want to watch a well done western comedy go invest in Blazing Saddles.

So much better than I thought it would be Posted by: from: on I can remember telling my dad there was no way I wanted to see this in the theater. It was on sale, and still had the cover sleeve so I got it. Amusing. Entertaining. Probably good I skipped it before because I would have spent more to get it earlier. I watched the unrated version because it was there... but that means I have no idea how the theater version is for younger family members, or in general for that matter. 3.75 stars

A Million Ways to Laugh Posted by: from: on This is a great western comedy in the tradition of Blazing Saddles. Macfarlane's comedy is not for the easily offended. He takes a jab at women, race, and family. There's also a funny musical number. Acton star Liam Neeson's turn as the villain is fun to watch as is the supporting cast that includes Giovanni Ribisi, Neil Patrick Harris, and Charlize Theron.

Better Than Expected...or Advertised Posted by: from: on This movie seemed to get a lot of bad reviews so I wasn't expecting much. It is, however, much funnier than expected and, especially if you're a Western fan, a fun parody of the genre.
