If you treasure Radiohead, then invest in this one Posted by: from: on Maybe not as jangly as other Radiohead opuses, but surprisingly melodic and worth repeated listenings. I would certainly recommend it; however, I miss having a closing emo symphony.

Radiohead Does It Again! Posted by: from: on A Moon Shaped Pool is another brilliant studio effort from Radiohead. The songs are moody, clever and reminiscent of older works like Amnesiac and Hail to the Thief. It is a mellower collection of songs compared to OK Computer or the Bends but true fans will be happy to come along for the ride. Daydreaming is a personal favorite so far because of the enchanting lyrics. Ful Stop has a beautiful creepiness as well. May not be for everyone but if you are a fan you will probably enjoy it immensely. Cool abstract art work adorns the cover. Cannot beat the price at Best Buy!

Compelling, But Not My Favorite Posted by: from: on Is it me, or are a higher percentage of Thom Yorke's lyrics unintelligible with each new Radiohead album? Or at least there's has been an incremental decline in my understanding since In Rainbows. The one thing I never expect from this group is more of the same, and in this case their experimentation took them to a place where I wasn't as willing to go. With only 9 tracks, it seems like once they got where they were going they couldn't find much of a reason to stick around. Side note: I only appreciate the "eco-friendly" packaging if the disc doesn't fall out everytime I open it.

Another Excellent Radiohead Album Posted by: from: Los Angeles, CA on This is Radiohead's 9th full length album and they are starting to show their age. Not that that's a bad thing. This is their mellowest album with nothing resembling a traditional rock song in the track listing, but it's atmospheric piano tinklings, acoustic guitar finger-pickings and orchestral flourishes add up to one of the most immersive listening experiences from a band that is showing more confidence as it ages. Standout tracks include Burn the WItch, Daydreaming, Identikit and Ful Stop. It closes with a newly-recorded sparse version of a long-time fan favorite, True Love Waits, that feels more heart-breakingly beautiful with its new arrangement.

Good album Posted by: from: on Radiohead isn't showing any signs of slowing down. "Burn the Witch" is strangely addicting and one **** of a kickoff single. If you're already a fan, that won't change with this album.

Radiohead....what else can be said Posted by: from: on I haven't listened to it enough without distractions to give a quality review. As a Radiohead fan you must give each album a thorough listen in a quiet, uninterrupted setting to make a good assessment. From the first few listens I give it a 4 star rating.
