WOW. was never a gamer until this came out. Every one needs to follow "Bethesda's" lead in open world platforms, there is nothing more fun than going where you want to when you want to; not corralled in like cattle to follow a certain path like most games out there. Now with the special edition you can add mod, this goes beyond fun to be able to add certain monsters, weapons, places....In all reality this game could go on forever.

The first time I played Skyrim was on November 11th of 2011 when it was originally released; and back then I absolutely loved it. So when I heard Bethesda was making a Special Edition I knew I had to get it. Ironically though, the game is the exact same version from 2011, which means all the same bugs made it in, hence making certain aspects of the game annoying. Now don’t get me wrong, not that it’s a super big deal, but considering Bethesda had 7 years to fix all the annoying bugs including broken dialog loops with non-essential NPCs, broken non-essential quests lines, and most annoyingly dragons killing off entire villages when fast traveling in, just to name a few, is still disappointing. I logged over 350 hours back in 2011/2012 and was hoping to do so again, but considering I’m a completionist I’m not willing to log that many hours again just to be annoyed with the same little things all over again. Thus I decided to only play through the game’s main storyline for nostalgic purposes, and surprisingly I ended up being satisfied. Nothing new has been added to the game, however there is an additional feature that allows you to download modified content created by the Skyrim gaming community, but in exchange you lose the ability to earn PS4 trophies. I would definitely recommend giving Skyrim a onetime play through unless you are a completionist or have played it before hoping all the little annoyances have been removed from the 2011 version.

Customers recognize the updated graphics and enjoyable gameplay as significant strengths of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim. Many also appreciate the availability of mods and the expansive open world, filled with quests and content. While some players mentioned the presence of bugs and challenges with the combat system, the overall experience is largely considered positive.
