Great laptop from Acer Posted by: from: Fort Wayne, IN on I bought this laptop for a variety of reasons. Those reasons are: price, Windows 7, hard drive size, and Bluetooth. I have owned this laptop since May 13 2014 and I am very happy with my purchase. I love the screen size on this laptop because it provides me ample room to view multiple tabs. The display itself provides a very crisp picture. The thing that I loved the most about this laptop is that it doesn't come with a bunch of junk software on it. I removed three programs that it came with because I had other programs that I was wanting to use. I would highly recommend this laptop to those people who don't want Windows 8.

Good for the price Posted by: from: Ann Arbor, MI on So this is my first laptop ever that wasn't a Dell. The only reason I didn't go with a Dell is because they're less and less customizable and more expensive than alternatives like Acer. I've had it for about a month so far and have to say I'm more or less just as happy with this laptop as I have been with my Dell's. Pluses are the numeric keypad on the keyboard. Detractors are it would be nice to have a backlit keyboard. Also 4 GB RAM is a little ridiculous for this type of system, the $50 extra on the street you'd pay for 8 vs 4 GB (meaning it probably only runs the manufacturer $5) should've been rolled into the machine here. Otherwise, no complaints, working well so far.

Awesome laptop for a first time Acer Aspire user! Posted by: from: Illinois on This was my first ever Acer Aspire laptop purchase and I couldn't be more pleased! Out of the box plug and play, fast, works great and most important...it's very lightweight! I got the red color, which is actually more of a deep red and I absolutely love it and very elegant looking!

Good Laptop Posted by: from: on I purchased this Red Acer laptop around 4 months ago and I have to say that I'm very happy with this product! Its a good size with good memory space. The only problem I have with the laptop is the mouse... It's a little sensitive, but other than that I think it's a really good laptop and a good first laptop for those looking for one like I was. Great price and I just love that it is a Windows 7 10/10 would recommend

Second Bad Acer I've Owned Posted by: from: Southern California on I had a great little Acer notebook from ten (?) years ago that worked hard until it fried. I replaced it with a larger Acer that has never worked right -- I thought I'd just gotten a lemon. So I bought this. It's annoying to use. It's slow sometimes and faster other times. The font size changes all by itself, which fouls up any writing I'm doing. And yes, it's been scanned a million times and apparently has no viruses. It's just a lousy computer. I'm going back to Toshiba or even Dell. I figure that one good Acer was a fluke.

Nice computer Posted by: from: on I really like this computer. I am still in the process of transferring info from old machine but I do like the feel, not nearly as thick as old one. And, battery charges very quickly.

Really Nice Posted by: from: Grand Rapids MI on For an off-brand, this machine is superb. Windows 7, no spyware, bloatware, or snoop/tattleware. Fast performance, great screen. All in all, worth every cent.
