Worse Purchase Ever!

09/24/2013I purchased my son this tablet for x-mas and my other son the Lenovo 7in tablet because Bestbuy was out of stock on the Galaxy tablets. The Lenovo tab's screen cracked and went to do a warranty exchange.Bestbuy no longer carries the Lenovo to I upgraded it to my original choice, the Samsung Galaxy 2. Now to the Acer.....Not long after the purchase of this paper weight (that's about all it's good for) the tablet would not charge and the screen kept blacking out. I returned it and Bestbuy sent it off for repair. Once I got it back it lasted a week or two and the same thing happened. Fixed again. The Bestbuy associate told me she believes it has to be brought in for repair 3 times before they'll replace it. I am going in there in the morning. This thing won't charge and now I noticed the port where usb connects is shifting. FYI-the repair has been for the motherboard each time. So in the morning, I don't want a replacement. I want the credit to go towards getting my other son the Galaxy 2 too. When this tablet was purchased, the price was higher, the same as the Galaxy 2's price tag today. I'm done with Acer. By the way, My oldest sons Galaxy 2 tablet is awesome. Especially compared to this garbage, but that's not saying much either.

07/16/2013Buyer Beware!!! Bought this and paid double the price at the time. It broke shortly after warranty ran out. Some kind of hard ware problem. When I googled it apparently this model has a hard ware problem. I would not purchase another Acer product again.
