Every track is something worth listening to Posted by: from: Waukesha, WI on Not sure what is most impressive, the vocals or the instrumentation. Every song involves something unexpected. Changes in tempo, additional instruments folded in, and excellent percussion. Can't say enough about the album.

Different, still good Posted by: from: Georgia on After the Disco isn't a bad album. As a fan of their original sound from their eponymous freshman album (I found it less generic and more recognizable than this) I was disappointed to hear them go the electro-pop route that is saturating music right now. However, Broken Bells continue to produce catchy lyrics that subvert that electro-pop vibe and turn it into something recognizably their own. Still, it would be a bit difficult to recommend to someone who isn't particularly fond of change, particularly changes that align with the mainstream.

A Rare Find.... Posted by: from: Hudson, OH on You can't go wrong with James Mercer, but paired with Danger Mouse, a double whammy! Both artists adding their undeniable talents to each layer, makes for a great listening experience. Rarely do I find a CD that I enjoy each and every track...this is really a well put together and solid album, through and through! A great succession to their first album (also excellent)!

Nice second album Posted by: from: NC on Every song on "After the Disco" is a keeper. Nice follow-up to Broken Bells self titled 2010 debut (also a great album; pairing up James Mercer and Danger Mouse was pure genius). On a scale of 1-4 I give tracks 3,4,5,6,8, & 9 four stars, and the rest 3 stars. Also, If you enjoy James Mercer's sound you should also check out "The Shins" catalog of music.

Great album Posted by: from: NY on Really enjoyed the second album from Broken Bells. While some may argue that it's not as strong as their debut album, I still think this holds up well. To me, at least, it's certainly an album I listen to in its entirety as each song flows fairly well into the next.

Broken Bells, what can I say. Posted by: from: on If you are into their sound it's a great CD, just as good as debut CD if not better. Broken Bells are a unique sound but very easy to enjoy.
