    Synopsis

    The Bregenz Festival mounted this 2009 production of Giuseppe Verdi's 1871 opera Aida, with a cast that includes Kevin Short as Il Re, Iano Tamar as Amneris, Rubens Pelizzari as Radamès and the majestic Tatiana Serjan in the title role. Graham Vick directs for the stage; Paul Brown designed the sets and costumes, Ron Howell choreographs, and Wolfgang Göbbel creating the lighting. The Camerata Silesia, The Polish Radio Choir Kraków, The Bregenzer Festspielchor and The Wiener Symphoniker lend added support with Carlo Rizzi conducting. ~ Nathan Southern, Rovi
