Mom go to lifesaver Posted by: from: on I have 2 of these one for my 4 year old and this green one for my just turned 2 year old. It is wonderful, minus the charger. My 4 year old bent the plug in part in less then a week. That's why I gave it four stars. My only complaint and I'm hard to please! Both of my boys become interested in learning games and show's at around 18 months. You get 2 years of Prime for kids. It's kids unlimited. The kindle is covered for 2 years against kids destruction. It's really a great deal. You can also set all of the parental controls and age group. I def recommend. Just put chargers up high!

Disappointed... Posted by: from: on We bought these tablets for our 5 year old and 2.5 year old. Reading reviews we were excited for them to use it; however we are really, really disappointed in them. The books and apps take forever to load (even with a strong internet connection), there is really minimal content (I know you can always add more), cannot be used outside when it's sunny because you can't see the screen, and it runs so slow that my 5 yo gets extremely frustrated. It is pretty much to the point that neither child wants to play with their tablets, and they have only had them for a month or so. The biggest thing you can forget is using it on the run when there is not an available Internet connection unless you want to use your smartphone as a hotspot. The only thing we do like is the extremely durable case. Honestly if you are looking for a good tablet, this is not it. Unfortunately, we will have to buy another tablet that is more functional.

Great Basic tablet Posted by: from: TX on Used with an Amazon Prime, basic tablet functionality, or with media player installation, this tablet is all you need to stay busy. It doesn't have the bells and whistles in browser or application library but who needs all of that if you use one of the 3 features that I mentioned.

Son loves it. Posted by: from: on I got this tablet for my 5 year old son. And he lives it. Good parental controls and like how it has a profile for him and also sets up a profile for me. Even though 8 gb havin the extra storage and ability to inset a SD card is a must. He has figured out how to run it quickly . Like the time limits it sets for reading books and can't do anything else till minimums are met.

Great for kids. Posted by: from: on I can just set the restrictions and not worry about what they do on the tablet.

not enough memory Posted by: from: on If your child like to have many games, this is not the device for you. After a few apps are added to the device a low storage message. Even after adding a 32 gb micro sd card, adding moving all apps that could go on it.

OK tablet Posted by: from: on Bought this tablet for my 6 year old. I do t understand why it boots up to the parent profile when it is a kids tablet. It should always be in the child's profile unless the parent chooses to switch. Some Apps listed in Amazon's site supposedly available are not. It's a little slow and some Apps (particularly Disney Junior which is her favorite) freeze regularly, require shutting down and then switching from parent profile back to the child's. Also, when powered off and you plug it o to the charger, it turns back on rather than charging while off. You get what you pay for so for $80 with 2 year no questions warranty I guess you can't expect any better theses days as attention to basic detail seems to be missing from everything you buy.
