Best Buy Customer Reviews

This is a very good game for fans of this series Posted by: from: on You get 2 amiibos for "free" included in the box and they are used as your avatar in the game, you tap them on your controller to choose who you want to play as. You also get a few physical animal crossing cards that are also used for this game in the box. The game is like monopoly, the game of life mixed together using the animal crossing world. You can play alone vs AI or up to four human players. It is a good game for any fan of this series.

Good game, Lackluster. Posted by: from: New York, NY on Amiibo festival is compatible with both the Animal crossing Cards and Amiibo figures. The game itself is fairly simple board game that you use your amiibos to roll the dice every turn. Gameplay is somewhat repetitive but its good for younger children or fans of the animal crossing series. The game can get repetitive and boring after a while leaving the game play to be something to be desired.

So Boring. Posted by: from: on This is far from an exciting and fun game like Mario Party. I played it with my son who I had to read tons of dialog to. You have to have the aiimbos in hand to place on the gamepad at every single turn so you can roll the dice. My son ended up just sitting on the floor and playing both our turns. $50 wasted!

Basic Board Game Posted by: from: on First of all - this is not a traditional Animal Crossing game. It is instead a spin-off, one that is primarily a board game with a collection of mini games. The basic board game is a very simple board game - easy to understand as a child. It is a fun board game, but not very repeatable because this is a text heavy game and the text starts to repeat. The replayability comes from the mini-games. There are 7 different mini-games and some of theme are much better than the board game. The most interesting, Island Escape, is a survival based game where your animal crossing characters must build tools and a boat so that they can escape. This package comes with two amiibo figures that normally retail for $13 and 3 amiibo cards that are normally in a pack at 6 cards for $6. That means this game comes with $29 dollars worth of stuff, and then you are paying just $31 for the game. I think that is a good deal, but if you are looking for a more complicated or involved game, this is not it.
