Posted by: Eugene from on 04/05/2016Overall satisfied with this MAC. Used to be with toshiba but laptop was constantly overheating until it gave up on me. Reason for getting this PC is to edit videos for my youtube channel balabay77 in full hd and 60fps. Previously mentioned laptop couldn't keep up even with i7 chip. This PC is making beautiful videos from my go pro cam. The only issue i have with this iMovie app is that it doesn't want to upload to youtube directly. When i click on the icon to upload, it uploads half way and then stops. Window pops up saying that i exceeded my daly limit even though its been weeks since my last upload. Found a way around it. save it to desktop and then upload it from safari.Maybe its an app glitch who knows? i even signed out and signed back it still same difference. Love it for the fact that iMovie has several settings where you can save video in different format and quality. i usually save it in mp4 60 frames per second for faster upload to YT. Mouse and Keyboard lasts for weeks on end before they need a recharge. Screen is very huge, I'm not complaining, I'm bragging. It was pricey but well worth it. The plus side is that i can upgrade memory with more gigs if i'll need more. External memory drives is the way to go nowadays. Just between us, DON'T KEEP ANY VALUABLE INFO ON PC and you'll be alright. Happy trails Y'all.

Amazing display

Excellent Screen

Posted by: DjBrooklyn from on 04/03/2016This is my favorite iMac, excellent screen and wonder computer, however, Apple went cheap on the SSD fusion portion and only includes 24GB of actual SSD instead of the previous 128GB, so the speed of the disk drive slows the computer down. Go for the SSD only if possible

The Retina display is amazing

Posted by: brothersgutters from on 04/03/2016I finally upgraded my 2009 iMac and what a big difference. Most noticeable is the Retina display. Night and day clarity difference. The speed is faster but I must admit I thought it would actually be a little faster than it is opening applications. I tend to have multiple applications running at a time including word, excel, Photoshop, mail and a browser. Switching between them once open is lightning fast. I am software savvy but not hardware savvy. That's why I love having a Mac! No pop ups, virus warnings... I just fire it up and use it. Highly recommend for people looking for a hassle free computer experience.
