Don't expect this cord to last! Posted by: from: on I bought the new iPad Mini on the release date and the charging cord works like all the other apple cords. They provide a quick charge but then all the cords connection will get weak within a few months. (I've had this cord for 4 months. I take very good care of my cords). As I'm typing this review, my fingers are supporting the connector so my iPad can charge. As soon as I let go, my iPad will no longer be charging. (I only charge to an wall outlet.). I also get the message that "this accessory is not supported by this device"---This cord came with the device! I have had these same issues with my iPhone & my iPod. The cords eventually broke open with gentle use of charging once daily. So, I have switched my other apple devices to Belkin cords and I haven't had any problems. So today, I will be going to Best Buy to purchase a lightening cable cord from another brand than apple. I love apple products but their charging cords are not made well.

It's a cord. Posted by: from: Grapevine, TX on Why on earth doesn't Best Buy show how LONG this cord is? I mean, really? What other specifications could there be? I haven't bought one yet so I'm still using the one that came with my iPhone 5 and it's nice that the plug fits into the iPhone in either of the two possible orientations. Much nicer than the old 30 pin adapter that only fit one way. That said, what is wrong with us lemmings willing to fork over 20 clams for a simple cable? For $17 I can buy a 16Gb USB 2.0 Memory stick shaped like Peter from Family Guy. With around 128 billion transistors and the Peter's cool pudgy outline, I'm guessing a little more work went into getting the silicon out of the fab clean rooms, assembled, tested, and shipped to us (including royalties paid to the good people at Fox). And yet, a simple cord for an Apple product costs MORE!!! And we still don't know how long the thing is!! That would be too much info.. just buy the thing and be happy!! Rant over.

Works, but doesn't last!!! Posted by: from: on I feel like I buy these lightning cords every 5-6 months. They are not made to last. Nor will I use an off brand, and risk damaging my apple products. So I'm stuck with a product that works but is lacking in durability. I wish there was a trade in program or at least a discount on A replacement cord. "Apple, can you hear me!!!"

Welp. Self-explanatory product Posted by: from: on We all done it before. You lost/broke/forget your charging cable. I'll save you the hassle: this works for newer Apple products. It charges AND syncs these newer devices. It is a stylish white color. It is not liquid friendly. It does NOT come with the charging block/brick. (The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is that I'm a Samsung guy, but had to buy this for my friends that are Apple people). Petty? Yes, I am. Should you buy it? Yeah, you should Apple user. Yeah. You. Should.

I will only buy Apple Products Posted by: from: on I will only buy Apple Products. The other products are cheaply made and their quality suffers. Apple devices do not get fully charged with compatable products. I had to return most chargers within a few weeks, because they are either not durable, and break easily, or because they do not charge anything correctly. I only kept one that was not made by Apple, because my cat uses that one as a chew toy, and it is a very expensive chew toy. That was all it is good for, a chew toy. Sorry, Insigna. Maybe, you would do better creating pet toys instead of electronics. I will continue to recommend Apple, while kitty may recommend the knock-off-brands. Apple is awesome.

Necessary for charging but poorly made Posted by: from: on The Apple company isn't stupid when they make their accessories. I need this USB wire to charge my phone but it's poorly made & will guarantee to break in a few months of usage. Apple should fortify the USB charging cable so I won't continuaslly have to purchase multiple USB cables! The disadvantage is if I purchase a knock off wire it's not comparable for my iPhone & could potentially damage my phone so I have no other choice but to have to purchase an Apple USB cable, repeatedly! Major thumbs down for the poor quality of the wire.

Easy to use, flexible cooktop Posted by: from: on The cooktop was very easily installed by Best Buy. The hole size recommended is about 1/2 inch more than needed (and the GE needs a smaller hole in the cabinet compared with other makes) so if you have smaller cabinet which I did, this is ideal. The flexibility of the cooker to boil water fast and accommodate multiple size pans is very useful as is the 5 rings for cooking for family occasions like Xmas and Thxsgiving.

Its just a needed cable Posted by: from: Highland Park, California on Like the title says, its just a needed cable to use with the 3 ipad air 128gb versions i have as well as a ipad mini 2. The reason i am not praising it much is because the cable is very expensive for its Meager lenght of 3 feet. The cables i have for micro usb from samsung for my smart phones are 6 feet long and cost less then half the price of this cable. If you need a cable for your ipad or iphone, this cable is the only choice. Other brands fail way too much so stick to OEM. Wish they offered like a 9 ft cable for the same price. But everything Apple is expenssive.
