Good addition to my apple ecosphere Posted by: from: on I held off purchasing an Apple Watch as I was unsure if I really "needed" one. I'm glad I finally made the decision to pick one up. Nice quality timepiece, that I'm relying on more every day to keep me informed without having to whip my phone out every time I get a notification. I've found the following most useful: Ability to reply to text messages with a couple of taps. When using Apple Maps to navigate, I receive a couple of taps on the watch when my turn is approaching. Allows me to keep my eyes on the road, and not looking down at my phone. I did turn off the email notifications on the watch...I get too many emails, and the watch was constantly vibrating on my wrist. As for the watch itself, the legendary Apple Quality is evident throughout. Fit and finish is excellent. I also really like the Milanese Loop band. That too looks and feels great. I highly recommend this smart watch.

I Use it Daily Posted by: from: USA on First of all, this serves well as a watch. That may be a strange way to begin a review of such a technological wonder, but as a watch, it is stylish and highly functional. A raise of the arm and the screen image appears, and is easily visible in sunlight. Now, given that, the Apple watch has not become an indespensible part of my life yet, but I can see that happening as the technology and features improve. While you can read the features in the watch description, I have found it quite useful as a phone. When I cannot get to my iPhone, I simply answer and talk with my watch. The callers have commented that they cannot tell the difference between my voice quality on the watch or phone. You hear the caller over the watch's speaker and it all works quite well. I also like the vibration of the watch when I have alarms, notices, or calls. That works well in a noisy environment. I like Apple's first effort at the iWatch and see it going no where but up. Hopefully that camera is coming with the next iWatch generation.

Amazing product Posted by: from: on I may be biased because I'm a huge apple geek, but they've done it again! This product works seamlessly with the iPhone, so if you don't have an iPhone, I maybe wouldn't recommend. The stainless steel face is really nice, but tbh I wouldn't been fine with the Apple Watch Sport. It's a big financial commitment and is honestly more of a luxury than a must-have. It's still really cool and I wear mine everyday, using its features when I can.

Turned into a believer... Posted by: from: on I was definitely of the opinion that the Apple Watch was a waste of time when it was first announced. I thought there was NO way I'd be getting one. I like wearing watches ($300-$800 range) and wear one everyday to work where we have a business casual dress code. I have a decent collection of watches already and couldn't imagine just not wearing them anymore in favor of a smartwatch, since it'd have to be worn everyday to be worth having. And certainly didn't want that nerdy tech geek look that wearing a smartwatch would bring. One day I actually played around with an Apple Watch in an Apple Store for the first time. Lo and behold I actually liked it! I decided to purchase one from my local BB with the intent to return it within the return window because I was SURE I'd get over that initial new buy feeling soon and would realize it just wasn't necessary. To my surprise I actually found the watch useful! It was like wearing one of my daily watches, but with more functionality. No more trying to reach into my pocket for my phone while driving to read a text message, or not even feeling my phone vibrate in my pocket when receiving a new message. With the watch vibrating for every new message I couldn't miss anything. The Activity app is very undervalued. It's quite nice that my daily movements are tracked and calories burned shown. It actually gives me the desire to want to do more physical activity to reach the daily goal. I picked the Milanese Loop model because I thought it looked classier and would go better with what I wear to work everyday. I was right and am not disappointed. I've received a few compliments so far on how nice it looked. Definitely glad I made the purchase. It's certainly not for everyone, especially if you're the type who doesn't wear a watch regularly. For me its perfect and I like it a lot!

Apple Watch First Time Buyer Posted by: from: on Recently, the purchase of my Apple Watch from Best Buy was pleasant and easy. Specifically, this is the mid-range Apple watch, with the Milanese loop band. I purchased the upgraded edition because I’m a tech enthusiast, and Apple fan boy. More so, I research my products quite a bit before I purchase them, and I replace my technology products with the latest and greatest every year or two. Best Buy makes the claim, “Apple Watch is an incredibly customizable timepiece, has entirely new ways to stay in touch, and is a comprehensive health and fitness companion,” which is an agreeable statement, after using the product for the past month. First, right out of the box, the Apple watch is a magnificent timepiece . The Milanese loop and stainless steel finish have a great shine. After opening the box and admiring the watch , the watch connected to my iPhone and set up couldn’t have been easier, because there is a step-by-step tutorial displayed on the screen. While set up was easy, personalizing the watch took about an hour. This ensures the device is mended to every users liking. Next, after weeks of using the product, all of the reviews and newscasts raving about the watch began to make sense. The features and apps that work seamlessly with your phone, which allows the user to fully utilize the iPhone. Some examples include the messaging app, fitness companion app, and weather app. The message app is great, because the user will get a brief preview of any message on their watch. This is nice in important situations in which using a phone would be inappropriate, such as a lecture or meeting. Next, the fitness companion app is great because the watch tracks the user’s workout progress, and presented on an easy to read graph on the iPhone. Lastly, the weather app is useful because the watch takes the current location, and gives a seven-day forecast on the screen, The complete package of applications fully supports me as technology enthusiast. In the scheme of things, the Apple watch is a great compliment to any iPhone at a fair price. The upgraded edition ($699), substantially more expensive than the base model, but there’s an Apple watch that fits every tech user’s budget ($349 - $10,000). All-in-all, this product comes highly recommended from a dedicated Apple user.

Much nicer than the Sport Edition! Posted by: from: on If you are debating between the sport edition and the watch, definitely save up and get the higher end model. The stainless steel is a bit heavier which makes it feel more like a high-end watch and is also far more appealing to the eye. The metal choice makes it look more like a watch than a small iPhone sitting on your wrist (which is what the aluminum frame of the sport edition basically resembles). If you need something light and durable for high impact sports, perhaps opting out for the sport edition is more along your lines. Furthermore, the sapphire crystal makes the display far more durable and scratch resistant than the ion-x tempered glass of the sport edition. Overall, the appearance of the watch version over the sports version is worth the additional cost!

Best Birthday Gift... EVER Posted by: from: on My wife surprised me with the Apple Watch as a birthday gift after I bugged her for a year. I am blown away and absolutely love it. Battery life is longer than I expected, I use it to rack many things. I recently showed my doctor all of the health data during a recent checkup. I work out of my home and have taken calls on it when I walk away from my desk to get coffee, and forget to bring my phone with me. I can receive and respond to text messages relatively easily and with less distraction than my phone, even when I'm in the car... I know, I know... but it's true. Love it. Thanks Honey!!

Great addition to the iPhone Posted by: from: on The watch as with most apple products is sleek, stylish, and cutting edge. It is such a great extension of the iPhone that it would be hard to get along without once you use it. The convenience of not having to drag the phone out of your pocket for every notification, message, alert, or call is undeniably a convincing argument to own one. The health and fitness monitoring and apps surpass other fitness bands I have tried. The ease of access to any app or feature is amazing. It charges quickly and last me 1-2 days depending on use. Making or answering a call from your wrist is easy but audio quality can be improved. Now if only they add a camera for FaceTime!

Poor Quality, Easy to Break, Need to charge daily Posted by: from: on I bought one on the first day of sale. However, I found it had a display layer separation, and Apple wanted to charge me $329 to fix their defect. In reviewing other people's experiences I also found out that even a 3 feet drop would cause a complete shattering of the display with a spider-web pattern. A normal watch such as Tag Heuer is much more resilient, and after paying about $1,085 for this, I would not want to be concerned it may break very easily, it is not water proof, and you have to take it off every day to charge it. It seems Apple’s product quality is going down after Steve Jobs. I decided not to buy two more for myself and my daughter.

Great Watch! Posted by: from: on I had actually purchased the Watch from Preorder from Apple's website, and when I got it, it was a lot better than I expected. The watch band doesn't pinch your skin (as I thought it would#, but it is actually fully customizable with the size of your wrist. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is interested #coming from an employee of BestBuy.
