A: This model is great for traveling! It has a solid state drive, which is better to travel with in comparison to a traditional SATA hard drive. As far as school is concerned, it really depends on your program's hardware requirements and the network requirements for your school. You should reach out to your school to confirm that this will meet all of the requirements needed. Some programs, especially engineering students (CAD programming) and design students may have very stringent hardware requirements that would need to be met.
