Intrigue and suspense Posted by: from: on I enjoyed the movie's plot. I saw the preview and thought the movie was good. I hadn't seen Richard Gere in a while and that was a nice surprise. I thought the ending could've been just a little better, but overall, the movie was good.

Rich people can buy themselves out of anything Posted by: from: on About a rich guy who is involved with the manslaughter of his mistress and the buyout of his company with crooked books. As the plot unravels, pressure is put onto Richard Gere. He holds his cool and lets his lawyers handle the situation. Fraud is found out and is handled typically by BOTH companies(sweeping all the problems into the "merger acct"). Disturbing that people would handle "other people's money" so haphazardly. Police know what happened (or piece it together), but can't prove it. Solid movie, but too close to real life "white collar crooks". Less than solid, but interesting if you liked movies like Wall Street. Not as clever and semi predictable.
