THE best Soundgarden album Posted by: from: on Just bought this... again (for about the 4th time now) and hadn't listened to it in a while. It is just a phenomenal album. The band is so tight with the vastly underrated rhythm section of Matt Cameron and Ben Shepard holding everything together. The layering of Kim Thayil's impressive guitar work blends perfectly with Chris Cornell's monumental vocals, cumulating in just simply fantastic songs. If you are just beginning with the band buy this one first. Non single stand outs are "Face Pollution", "Room A Thousand Years Wide" and "Drawing Flies".

Untouchable Posted by: from: on Before Soundgarden polished their sound to perfection in Superunknown, there was Bad Motorfinger, a raw and powerful statement about what Soundgarden is. If you only know this band from Superunknown on, you owe it to yourself to go back and experience them, unfiltered.

One of rocks all time greats Posted by: from: on The definition of grunge rock. I loved this cd, I come back to it often at least once a year. The musicality of the songs is unique. Some of the guitar riffs are forever stuck in my head. Jesus Christ Pose is my favorite, you'll never hear a drum beat like that again.
