Warning! This album will melt your face off Posted by: from: on Brutal, is the first word that comes to mind when describing this album. Then again, that is something that completely defines this band and everything they are about. As soon as the CD is turned on, or the MP3 Album is played, the listener is instantly slammed with face melting guitar riffs, blasting drumbeats, deep vocals, and eerie harmonics. The main difference between "Baptized In Filth" and "There Will Be Violence" is the melody, or lack thereof in this new album. The band decreased the melody while increasing the brutal sound that has made them so popular among the metal crowd. Every song delivers a pulsing and energetic vibe that is enough to chill even the most hardcore of listeners to the bone. I highly recommend this album, and totally disagree with the "Parental Advisory" rating that has been shamefully placed on this album. Impending Doom is a Christian band, with a Christian message, and I predict that this album will be a fan favorite very soon.

Parental Advisory is a mistake Posted by: from: on One of their best albums for sure. It's beautiful, brutal, and complex. I love it. If you love deathcore... this album is a must. Track 9 is surprising... and unlike anything they have produced before. A very accessible song to those who like softer metal. Finally: the parental advisory is obviously a mistake. There is nothing crude or inappropriate in these lyrics.
