Entertaining Movie Posted by: from: on This is the an entertaining movie. It kind of is connected to the graphic novel that accompanies it. Both are good and are worth seeing / reading.

Not Bad Batman Posted by: from: on How can you replace an icon that's been well established for 75 years? In the world of comics and graphic novels, characters seem to have the ageless appeal to readers world-wide and so those characters either never change or become adaptable to today's society. Several times during the past 25 years, DC comics tried to replace Batman-Bruce Wayne. And every time, Batman Bruce Wayne has returned. Bad Blood creates another possibility if Batman Bruce Wayne were to ever disappear, but in this one the fight rages as to who should replace him: Dick Grayson (who really is the obvious choice) or several others. Meanwhile Batman Bruce Wayne is being picked apart by nefarious means & by a most evil villain! And time is running out! I'm a DC fan, so I'm prejudiced and though the storyline is an old tried & true formula, it needs a little something extra to make the magic work. And the team behind the movie does deliver with a few twists & turns that make it worthwhile to see. Whew!

Great set and movie Posted by: from: on It isn't a direct port of battle for the cowl. It really incorporates more from Batman Incorporated than BftC. This is a great set. Figure looks great and the mini trade is a nice addition. Highly recommend.

Finally Nightwing gets his day in the sun Posted by: from: Jacksonville, FL on My review may be biased because I'm a huge Nightwing fan. But after the last few DC Animated features starring Batman only hinted at his extended family I'm glad that this one highlights it. The mistake that DC Animated continues to make is that they fail to realize they have thousands of colorful characters outside of Batman, Superman, and The Justice League. Nightwing, Robin and Batwoman take centerstage as Batman goes missing and leaves Gotham City unprotected. Nightwing having spent years in an attempt to get from under Batman's shadow is drawn back in at the behest of Alfred. When Robin gets wind of the news his self imposed exile is cut short as he believes there is no way Nightwing can pull this off without him. With Batwoman the last one to see Batman alive thats who they find first with there questions. As they team up together and are joined by Batwing they uncover a nefarious plot on the city and show that Batman is not the only hero of Gotham. Awesome watch for the family, all though a few choice swear words you might be surprised to hear coming from a "Kids" movie. all in all a must watch.
