A definite wild ride Posted by: from: on Though not as real-world amazing as "The Dark Knight", this second addition to the beginning of the Caped Crusader's first reign on the big screen was an exciting, eye-popping experience that really made me happy to be a fan of the Big, Bad Bat. Keaton was to the big screen Bats as Conroy was to the animated Bats; no one could touch his style and it really shined here. Michelle Pfeiffer still looked amazing as the re-imagined Catwoman and who could forget DeVito as the Penguin. This film does, however, get a bit too Burton-eque as the zaniness gets a bit out of hand & the sets look really artificial in spots(thankfully not as bad as the ones on Schumacher's "Batman & Robin", which covered virtually the entire movie. Not a great memory.). But the action and wonderful score from Danny Elfman make you forget all of that and enjoy this as it's supposed to be: a comic book brought awesomely to life, way before such things it became the norm. Almost thirty years and I still can't get enough of seeing this! Wonderful movie.....and no "Holy this and that, Batman" required!!

Awesome Blu-Ray Movie. Posted by: from: Houston,TX on This movie's so awesome on Blu-Ray. The picture is perfectly crisp & the sound is good. I've always enjoyed this particular film from the other 3. The music, the Gotham City classical look, the acting is pretty good.

Not as good as the first movie Posted by: from: Walkersville, Md on I thoroughly enjoyed the original Batman movie. However, I believe that this film gets bogged down in the development of the characters. Danny Deveto is excellent as the Penguin character. Michelle Piffer is good as Catwoman, although she could have showed more leg. The disc has great picture and sound quality, and is loaded with extras. In my opinion, there is no other Batman movies. I have never seen the other Batman movies, nor do I plan to see them. Michael Keaton originated the role. He should continue the role. How can another individual be Batman? That is like another individual becoming Doc Brown in Back to the future. Christophe Lloyd is Doc Brown. Micheal Keaton is Batman. At least that is one man's opinion.
