Poor follow up to Man of Steel Posted by: from: New Jersey on I loved Man of Steel and Henry Cavill as Superman. When I heard that DC was following up this film with not a Superman sequel, but Batman v Superman and Ben Affleck was cast as Batman, I really tried to keep an open mind (Daredevil <_>) but I've got to say, even with low expectations, this film, still let me down. I found the dream sequences rather confusing and Jessie Essienberg's Lex Luthor highly annoying, among other things. The highlight for me was the cameo by Wonder Woman. Instead of trying to go head to head with Marvel and the Avengers, DC really should have done a Superman 2, introduced a new Batman who wasn't Affleck in a stand alone film, and not tried to push the launch of a Justice League movie in this one, but that's just my humble opinion. ;)

This movie had to accomplish a lot... and it did Posted by: from: on I was never a fan of comic books... in fact I am not aware of anyone who was. However, I do enjoy their adaptation to big blockbuster movies, YES this one included. The movie was very busy because it had to set the stage for the Justice League - BIG job. I'm glad that the producers didn't try to "MILK" this into two or three movies. I really like Ben Afleck in the role, and the introduction of Wonder Woman jumping into the fight scene was THE MOST incredible character introduction I've ever seen... AMAZING!

Don't get the DVD get the Blu Ray version! Posted by: from: on I enjoyed the movie very much! I usually play all my movies on my PS4 and buy them on the Blu Ray format! The DVD format quality was pretty bad! The image on the screen isn't as vivid and vibrant as I would imagine the Blu Ray would be! I guess the quality for me sucked because I'm use to watching all my movies in HD Blu Ray! If your use to DVD quality I recommend the DVD! But if not I would stick with Blu Ray!

A lot more dark then I am used to Posted by: from: on Compared to most super hero movies out there, this one is pretty dark. I didn't see the typical comic relief that you get with some of the Marvel movies. Not one of my favorites. The price was good and condition was great, and I will continue to buy products at Best Buy. Just like other movies a whole lot more then this one.

OUTSTANDING MOVIE Posted by: from: Fredericksburg, VA on The solemn, grandiose atmosphere is severely disrupted by Luthor, portrayed by Eisenberg as a privileged tech guru who makes the actor's take on Mark Zuckerberg look like the epitome of style and manners. Loaded with vocal tics and gushing with smarmy ripostes and threats, the character is loathsome without an ounce of insidious charm; if the legacy of the studio's Dark Knight films might have suggested anything, it should have been in the area of great villains, but here there is just a great vacuum.

Loved this film, Snyder rules! Posted by: from: on Man of Steel was such a great film and was more of what I think serious story telling compared to the more comedic Christopher Reeve films. Loved them but I'm more loving the film's story with Snyder's take and better for it. It has a great story, epic feel in scope of the way the film is shot and I'm not bored or put off by Marvel's silly villains that don't seem to give their films longevity or lasting feel to watch them again or more than twice at best.

Interesting how the Lives of Batman/ Superman mix? Posted by: from: on Now this is a truly gritty and dark story. I'm not used to seeing Batman so vicious. Superman as usually is a shining beacon of hope. The introduction of Wonder Woman and Dooms Day make this an incredible story.

Average movie Posted by: from: on This movie was okay, but it definitely falls short of what it could be. They tried to add and do to much and cram it into one movie. The actors seemed not to work well together, and it seemed cheap and cheesy at times.

The movie was too long... Posted by: from: on I also thought the story line was bad. I was excited to see this movie, but I also heard bad reviews. I should have listened.
