Not for those who read the books. Posted by: from: on To start I would like to say that I have thoroughly enjoyed the Animated movies that DC and WB have had to offer. With all the hype and excitement of the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies and takeover of cinema all together, its nice to see that DC can still dish out some punches as far as movies go. This movie had its high points and low points. If you have read the comic books or graphic novels that contain the Court of Owls you would probably agree with me that there were too many holes in the story and origin of this incredible force opposite of Batman and Bruce Wayne. The changes in the story are disappointing and drastic. If they had done what Batman Year one and The Dark Knight Returns had done and kept the core of the story and change small things here and there. I wasn't expecting this story at all with the title of the movie. The relationship between Bruce and Damian was surprisingly done well, even though the movie before this it seems that they got along well in the end, and the fight scenes had great angles and action. I admit i cringed when Nightwings arms and legs were impaled by the Talons. There are plenty of extra special features also. I believe 4 full episodes 2 of which I recognize and I believe i remember watching from the old 90's Batman and the Superman animated series. I have yet to watch the 2 Featurettes that pertain to The Court of Owls for fear of further disappointment. I give this a 2 star rating only because of the great portrayal of rebellion from Robin and the fact that Dick Grayson was featured. But the plot holes, the missing scenes with Batman going completely mental, and the amazing story to the secrets of The Court of Owls completely being cut out from the main movie held this back from what could have possible been the greatest Batman movie ever. I recommend everyone to pick up the the New 52 Batman issues 1- 15, or 16 I can't recall, or graphic novels. As far as the movie goes I would say it is only worth a rental.

Excellent product. Posted by: from: on I thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and thank whom ever is responsible for getting more copies sent to the store in my area. I complained earlier that there were no available products with the collectibles inside at the store in my area and on my next visit there was more than enough but at full price. I had to eat my words and buy a second copy because one was now available and your employees did everything they could to make a sale possible. Thanks for a good product and your great employees.

Great animated feature, great figurine. Posted by: from: Jacksonville, FL on I always look forward to the DC Animated Features, since most are Batman related, normally those are the better ones. This one is no exception, it took a complex story line called The Court of Owls and it developed both Damian Wayne as an established Robin as well as the story of the court. The title is basically the conflict in the dynamic between Batman and this new Robin, but also the one between father and son. It is entertaining and the animation is well executed.

Holy beatdown batman Posted by: from: on As this is the follow up to son of batman, they really did a fantastic job showing the conflict in Damien trying to be of two different worlds, hat is the one he was growing up in, and the one he is in now.

the son of batman returns...as robin Posted by: from: on Wow, this story was good. We already knew about Damian's rigorous upbringing, but this story shows how he still has a battle making the right choice for him. Surprised to know who the leader of the council of owls was.

A good way to spend in Adventure! Posted by: from: on I'll admit I do not like Damian Wayne. But I have loved Batman for a very long time, clear back to to when Damian was conceived in a wonderful graphic novel a few decades ago. Both Son of Batman and Batman and Robin are thoroughly enjoyable films; and the special edition from Best Buy made it even better.
