Love it! Posted by: from: seattle on Always loved this movie and was glad when the blu-ray version came out! Great! Considering how old this movie is (1987) the picture quality is pretty good. Sound not great, but still enjoyable.

Great 80s Family Film Posted by: from: on An elderly couple who run a diner in a broken down tenement in Brooklyn have fallen on their last hope....some small very special visitors might have just what they need. A favorite of my childhood, worth the price of admission so to speak.

Slightly better than usual Universal-quality Blu Posted by: from: Nashville, TN on Universal Home Video's treatment of their catalog titles on Blu-ray varies wildly. Some are well-treated, while others are put out with older HD transfers riddled with edge enhancement and digital noise reduction. This title fares pretty well, fortunately.

A childhood classic Posted by: from: on Even after more than 25 years the only thing that doesn't hold up in this movie are the costumes. Otherwise this movie could have been made 2 years ago and you wouldn't know the difference. Only one brief scene is not family friendly and that is when the artist is painting his neighbor. She is clothed but the painting is not.
