Pleasantly Surprised Posted by: from: Linden, NJ on I found out about these earbuds from the Beats website a couple weeks ago, and was enticed by the wingtip attachments for the earbuds. I had previously purchased Beats Tour (1.0's) a little over a year ago, and found myself not using them very often because they would commonly fall out of my ears. This led me to find an alternative with better fit and ability to stay in the ears (Bose IE2s). With the Tour 2.0s however, that problem is GONE! The included wingtip addons come in three sizes and feel almost as comfortable as the Bose IE2s' wingtips (with the proper size fitted for your ears, obviously). In terms of sound, the highs are nice and crisp as in the previous model, and the bass is also the same if not better. The tangle-free cable is also nice (though slightly less wide than the previous model), and the included carrying case is durable and attractive. Overall, I was impressed with this revision to the product over the previous model. If price isn't a huge factor for you (they are obviously priced kind of high for earbuds), then I'd say you should give them a try. My Bose IE2's will be going into retirement with the arrival of these buds!

Don't know how well they work but service is great Posted by: from: Kansas City on These are actually my son's, and he loves them. But while out on tour this summer with Drum Corps International, they broke and he asked me to get them replaced. We didn't buy the Best Buy extended warranty, but they were within the one year manufacturer's warranty term. So, I took them to Best Buy when he was home for a day, and they at first said I needed to send them back to Monster to get them replaced. But after explaining that my son was only here for a day, they made an exception, found a replacement pair (which happened to be at another Best Buy location, which they called and had them set aside for me), and I went and picked them up. So, how do they work? Don't know, and don't care. But I know how well I was treated by the customer service rep at the Olathe, KS Best Buy, and because of that, I will continue to give them my business!

Total joke of a product - Dr. Dre EPIC fail Posted by: from: Brooklyn on I purchased these 2 days ago and will be returned on Monday. I have ALWAYS wanted a pair of these headphones. They look great and based on other Dr. Dre products - I was excited about how good they would sound. The packaging is awesome - it made me feel like the $150 was well spent before I even tried them! Truthfully, I don't think the sound is THAT good. You get 3 different sized earbuds to use. I am a 37 year old man and I needed large. The earphones simply will not stay in place. Let's make this clear. I use these at my desk. Not for walking, not for running and not at the gym... They are pretty heavy earbuds which is why they keep falling out - that paired with controller - I just don't see how they are supposed to stay in... If anyone could recommend another in ear product - Ill be all ears - no pun intended

Great Sound. High Quality. Posted by: from: Torrance, CA on Great sounding!. Very comfortable. The cord is long enough where it doesn't get in the way while running. The ear buds fit securely will running and are very comfortable. Unfortunately, the earbud's advance features (volume, fast forward) do not work with the Samsung Galaxy. Apparently, it only works with the iPhone. :(

Ear buds FINALLY done right! Posted by: from: Temple Hills, MD on I own the white over-the ear Beats By Dre Studio Headphones and enjoy using them on the Metro subway train back and forth to work daily. However, as much as I enjoy them it's the Summer and in my opinion it's too hot to wear them this time of year. Which brings me to my need to purchase a pair of ear buds. I have not been a fan of them, because it always felt like I was missing most of the sounds. I've disliked them for various reasons. #1 being they did not fit in my ear well. They would fall out or hang halfway out of my ear. Not to mention the annoying cords always getting tangled. Well since I am a Beats owner I decided to view BestBuy & BeatsbyDre's websites and noticed the New Release of the "Beats Tour 2.0" ear buds. I bought them and was impressed w/ all the accessories to customize the best fit for everyone's ears. The optional rubber/plastic wingtips are fantastic! I was skeptical at first just because of my history w/ ear buds, but this was a great decision. The tangle-free cable cord is great, as well as the volume, pause, rewind, forward button controls on the cord so you do not need to ever pull out your MP3/Smartphone. The most important thing is the sound and it's is shockingly just as good as the over the ear Studio Beats headphones. As for noise canceling, you won't be able to hear anything and a bonus is no one beside you will either. With the Studio headphones people could hear my music, even though it was not at max volume. The only downside IMO is the asking price. No way any ear buds should be this expensive. I had a Best Buy gift card which means I did not pay full MSRP and made my decision a little easier. It also comes with a nice compact carrying case for your ear buds. The retail box it comes in is top notch premium packaging. I would highly recommend if you can deal with the asking price. Enjoy.

Great sound and fit Posted by: from: Frisco,TX on The headphones are a very quality product at a fair price. They come with an adapter to help old them in your ear so they don't fall out during a work out.

LOVE these Beats headphones!!! Posted by: from: New York, NY on I love Beats By Dr. Dre headphones! In my opinion, they are the best headphones on the market, even though the prices are a little steep, but none the less, they are really worth the money, especially the new design of the Tour beats in-ear headphones. They are more lighter than the original Tour beats. The sound is more crisp and the bass is more deeper. They even come with these "white hooks" that you can even take on or off, but it's best to have the hooks on. They keep the earbuds from falling out. You should buy these! I highly recommend these!

Beats Tour 2.0 Posted by: from: New York on For the past five years or so, I would pretty much replace my cheap earbuds on a monthly basis; either one of the buds would blow out or the sound was just too muddy to bear any longer. So, I decided to finally buy a pair of premium sounding earbuds; after a couple days of research, I narrowed my choice down to either the Bose IE2 or the Beats Tour 2.0. Considering that the Bose had received higher overall ratings, I went to Best Buy and purchased them, thinking they would be ideal for my type of music. The Bose IE2 earbuds are excellent and the clarity and sound is amazing...for acoustic, pop, EDM, rock....pretty much anything but hip-hop/rap. Now, considering the fact that the majority of my music is of the latter type. Plus, the Bose do not offer noise isolation, as the tips merely rest on the canal instead of fitting snug inside the ear. So, thanks to Best Buy's return policy, I was able to exchange them for the Beats Tour 2.0; excellent decision on my part, as these Beats are tremendously powerful in all aspects of sound. The bass is heavy but does not overpower the clarity; the sound is clear, with the highs and the lows fairly complimenting the bass, without the music being muddy, as with most bass-heavy headphones. This product is excellent and I would highly recommend it to anyone serious about how they listen to music; easily the best hip-hop/rap earbuds you can buy and are definitely not overrated. They are good for others types of music as well; EDM, rock, and pop all sound very good on these.
