Best Headphones / Best Wireless Headphones Posted by: skycorgan from: Hartford, CT on These are, simply put, the best headphones I have ever owned. This includes both the wired and wireless varieties. I connected these wireless to my iPad Air & my iPhone and they worked flawlessly. I was streaming audio from Spotify, using music on my device, and even watched several movies wearing these. Unlike prior Beats products which were made by Monster, these have very balanced sound. While the traditional bass is there, it is very obvious they are providing a much cleaner sound now. These are essentially the Beats Studio with wireless built in. This adds a little bit to the price, but this versatility is well worth it. I can use these headphones wired or wireless, which means I get the versatility of wireless but can still use them on an airplane or with non-Bluetooth devices like my Nintendo 3DS. My only complaint is the carrying case,which I felt was a little spartan; I wish it had a couple of pockets inside to hold cables instead of having to have them loose in the case. Otherwise, it is a solid case that will protect the headphones well. I have owned headphones, wired and wireless, from multiple companies including Bose. These have replaced by QC15 headphones as my go-to for noise cancellation, although I still use my QC20 at the gym. I was hesitant to buy these after buying and returning a pair of the old Beats Wireless headphones. However, looking them over I felt like the chance was worth it since Beats has separated itself from Monster. Well worth every dime of the purchase.

Beats Wireless Studio Impressive Posted by: DJAluzion from: Queens, NY on So I just bought these Beats yesterday. Its still very early to write a solid review but I would like to talk about some first impressions. The first thing I realized when i pulled these out of the box was how nice and solid they feel. I have used the original Studio headphones a while back and I remember how flimsy they felt. These Actually feel like they can hold up to everyday use. Next, from the first song I played through my iPhone I noticed how nice and warm they sounded. Plenty of bass and nice treble. They also get very loud to the point I assume it would be unsafe to listen to for extended periods of time. I love all kinds of music but I would say they really shine listening to EDM. The bass these produce feels like you have tiny subwoofers in the ear cups but yet is very balanced with mids and highs. I think they did a really good job with the sound. I also love the rechargeable battery. It lasted me all day yesterday and a few hours of listening today. Right now they are on charge and I wanna say it looks like they charge up fairly quickly. After an hour and a half they are already halfway charged. Nice features also include that you can control volume and track skips from the headphone itself as well as the ability to use a cord. And they provide you with two cords. A inline mic cord and a straight aux jack cord both with 90 degree jacks at one end to fit right against your iPhone or Other cell phone. The last thing I would like to say is that the Distance is pretty impressive using my iPhone. I could leave my phone in my bedroom and be three rooms over in my kitchen and they still sound great and withstand audio cut out. They are also very very comfortable. I was wearing them yesterday and today and i actually forgot i had them on. In conclusion, They are very expensive. I got them on sale and with the 2 year best buy protection total purchase was 430.00 I highly recommend the insurance for two years because best buy replaces headphones no questions asked so its a good idea to protect these. Ive only had them for 2 days now but after reading everyone else reviews I feel confident in giving these 5 stars. Just the fact that they are rechargeable and wireless active noise canceling headphones with nice clear tones makes it worth it for me. Theres a lot in these headphones that other competition has nothing on. If you can afford them and you love music like i do I say give them a try.

Great Headphones Posted by: Razorback from: Guyton, GA on The sound is impressive. These are not just for bass heads. The sound is immersive, full and the clarity is outstanding. I tried out several and nothing I listened to compared to the overall sound of the Beats Studio headphones. The Bose were excellent for clarity, but lacked any low end. The JBL Everest headphones were flat and the music sounded flat. The Sony's were muddy sounding and the bass was overwhelming. The Beats Studio hit all my requirements with a solid low end, clear but not shrill highs and a smooth mid range. They connect easily and I've experienced absolutely no lag using youtube on my ipad, connecting to my Dish Hopper or my iPhone listening to music. The range is outstanding and the battery life is very good at around 10 hrs. They also charge very fast. Comfort is good, although they are a bit snug, but may just need to break them in a little longer to loosen them up. Cannot go wrong with these headphones.

Best beats yet. MAKE SURE TO UPDATE THEM Posted by: Ummmmmmmmmm from: on I was very pleased when I took these home and used them for a few hours. The sound quality is great. Not toooooo much bass, good mids and highs, overall a great pair of headphones. They are also VERY comfortable. And that matte black design is beautiful, although it doesn't attract fingerprints, it will attract oils. The noise canceling is actually a HUGE step up from the executives, my previous pair of beats. When nothing is playing, there is a faint hiss, but as soon as something starts to play, the hiss goes away and isn't noticeable at all. Some things people are complaining about are minor and can likely be fixed with AN UPDATE AVAILABLE ON THE BEATS WEBSITE. You can plug your beats into your computer with the charger cable included and find an update for your beats on the website. It more than likely fixes your problems with them if there's errors out the box.

Great sound - terrible durability Posted by: rihuddy from: ri on Sound is great and the look is cool. But make no mistake - it will break within 6 months -as does all Beats headphones. After Apple bought them, Geek Squad doesn't apply - like it does with the rest of the stuff at Best Buy. Geek Squad protection has always been a solid protection for gear that takes a pounding - but not for Beats. These headphones have great sound but you'll only enjoy it for 6 to 9 months before they break. Then you'll have a very expensive pile of broken plastic.

If you are surprised about my title using the word affordable then you should remember: I am confident everyone can afford these but it is a matter if you think it with worth spending your hard earned money on a set of headphones but let's face it, life is too short, enjoy it, you can't take money with you to your grave. " You get what you paid for" -Nice design, nice comfort, stylish, wireless, high end audio I am sure audiophiles or super technical individuals might disagree with this product but remember this is a review for consumers to help them decide on buying a product not a research paper, you guys are so boring.

excellent headphones Posted by: johnsktiz from: staten island new york on so i received a big bonus at work , otherwise i would have never bought these . i bought the regular wireless about a month ago and decided to return them because lack of bass and low sound . i bought these yesterday and charged them up right away . the first thing i tested was bass and how loud it could get . ( note i have a android . so the volume on the phone and volume on beats is different , like having 2 sound options ) i put on a song with very loud bass . the headphones started vibrating from how good the bass is . 5/5 stars ! . these headphones get very loud . i did not expect this at all . 5/5 for that . i took these bad boys to the gym to try them out . i started off jogging 2 miles without the headphones even moving . which is great because the regular wireless ones moved a lot . i than moved over the free weights and did some power movements . the headphones did not move at all . they are very very comfortable compared to the regular wireless . when the bass goes off your ears start to tickle . its like getting a massage . i safely put my phone about 5 feet away from me the whole time and had no distortion . i did a range test and after 28 feet it started to skip , after 45 feet it completely stopped . . i use a galaxy note 3 . overall i am very happy with this purchase and glad i bought these . i will only use for gym for the wireless and the loud music to get a pump ! oh and i dont know why the other reviews were bashing on the control panel . it works fine for me . maybe they had a lemon .

These are better for workouts Posted by: Homeyclause from: Detroit, Mi on These headphones are better for workouts due to the fact that they fit OVER the ear. Wireless feature is a big bonus because I hate cords getting in the way during weight training. Again these will start to slip off from sweat but will stay on a little better than ON ear wireless. Wish that cushions were somehow sweat proof. These Beats are by far the best because of the versatility of using cords or just going totally wireless.

Pros - wireless Bluetooth works well and battery life seemed reasonable sound quality is good (not great) aesthetically they look great fold up Cons- -#1 con is that one ear just randomly stopped working, very bad sign for ~$400 headphones with 0 wear and tear on them. a good tap on that side got it working again temporarily and then it went out again for good. not cool beats, not cool. - uncomfortable after about half hour or hour, I kept needing to take them off and rub my ears (I don't think I have particularly big ears or anything) - while they look great, overall they feel kind of cheap plastic feel, one decent drop or bad packing and they seem like they'd be done for, which for the price is concerning. - even though they fold up the case and all is very bulky, not a major issue cause I expect it, but the bose QC going flat works out better for packing than these. Overall unreliability and pain wearing them led me to return and go with the Bose QC, sacrificing the wireless feature for quality and comfort - and I'm very glad i did! the noise cancelling on the Bose just can't be beat and the comfort after hours of use was excellent. For reference, the point of this purchase was primarily for something to use for air travel.
